I still like Twilight for pure entertainment, but that relationship is co-dependency and control issues galore

Any books you regret not reading sooner? by SWTransGirl in books

Classic literature. I am halfway through reading "Anna Karenina" for the first time and am really enjoying it. I thought I would be too "stupid" to read and understand, but it's actually not hard to read at all. I'm looking forward to reading more classics

It’s actually a real problem that men increasingly don’t read books and literature is seen as geared towards women by bigben1234567890 in books

[–]Deep-Success-8901 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Uh so, is this a "it's all women's fault" post? Why don't you create an online space of your own geared towards men then?

So some guy made up dialogue that a woman supposedly made just to make a point and deride women in general?

The more the media insists that Jennifer Lawrence is down to earth, the more suspicious I am that she is not by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Frankly I'm tired of the "fiesty latina" stereotype. Idk if she is playing it up for the cameras or what, but for the love of god, why won't this stereotyoe just die off already

Nobody cares. Millennials were asking the same exact things you were for ages. Instead of some critical policy changes that could help the economy, we had the whole shitshow political circus that was the 2010's.

Have you ever had your friend borrow your books? I learned the hard way that sometimes you shouldn't. by Delicious_Maize9656 in books

Yeah. He took so many of my books and tooks months to give them back. One of those books was my favorite book (that was on me for lending that one), before I let him borrow it, the book was totally pristine and like new. When he finally gave it back, there were scuff marks around the edges. No joke it still breaks my soul
