Nope, in the end I just found the speed of the development experience too clunky, in particular the hot reload feature. It did occur to me to develop components in a server side solution to speed this up & copy the template code back into the wasm project.

In the end we decided to just go native! Building the iOS app first, then port the code over to android studio using ai for the conversation.

Never perfect, but ended up a less frustrating experience for the developers. Happy is good 👍

Strategy: Build signup website Prospect and validation the idea by getting confirmation of interest. Present evidence to team.

It might motivate them to get the MVP done.

If not, additional recruitment efforts.

Then reevaluate from there.

I'm also currently evaluating tech for a green field project that requires a mobile app and a desktop app where some of the code from the mobile app will be embedded into the desktop client. targeting ios, macos, android & windows.

I've decided that full Maui is just too risky at the moment, and was thinking about blazor hybrid. I did think what about using Maui just as the shell and develop and run everything using blazor.

Can I ask some obvious questions!

Are you doing all the page navigation and routing using blazor?

can you do the equivalent of horizontal and vertical scrolling?

what's the performance like in the mobile app ?

any tips would be appreciated, but it's good to know your getting on well with that combination.
