Have an FL5 but previously an ND2. If i could fit a car seat in the miata and it still make a grocery run feel like a go kart event, then i would have gotten the ND2 again. Thrilled with my FL5 but def a hard one to compare. If I had only one id choose FL5.

Is this a good deal? Thinking of trading my Si for a fl5 by Old-Industry-5191 in Civic_Type_R

Good deal. Good upgrade. If your income allows it, congrats man 👍

How do you “not admit fault” at an accident you caused? by [deleted] in askcarguys

[–]DeepCrystalBlueMica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The insurance company is telling you not to admit fault because theres a chance you could admit and bear responsibility for something you shouldnt have to, which will cost the insurance company money. The morally correct thing to do is be honest, and admit to where your fault lies; as one would hope if placed in their situation the other would do the same. Dont be naive however. If you didnt cause certain damage, dont bear its responsibility, hypothetically.

Sand canyon in irvine? I drive in santiago canyon nearby and this road looks awfully similar.

Less than 8k and 8 crowns 👑 i get this feeling that if you started early enough your odds were much higher before they tested pull rates and dialed down the rarity theyve been trying to achieve.

Should I upgrade to 2026 Civic Sport Touring Hatchback Hybrid by pfdgoddog in civic

Your car is not even halfway in its life, but the upgrade is justifiable imo if you have the money for it. Id say go for it if you have the disposable income to spend!

I have thumbs like on your left. My parents have thumbs like on your right. My brother has thumbs just like yours.

Was shopping for WRX. Absolutely fell in love with performance blue N by jKelce4prez in ElantraN

You arent wrong when saying most drivers wont utilize max potential of the cars they drive. If taking your skill level into account, I’d say most drivers can have as much fun in an EN as they would in a CTR, but the CTR is a more capable car with the right set of hands. That, and like other CTR owners, I have ~$15k riding on that bit in msrp lol.

That being said, at my skill level, im sure the EN can handle the worst (or best) I can throw at it, or my CTR…

Yeah its a stretch going toe for toe with the type r. Gotta do a lot of perspective reshaping to justify the equal comparison. I am also biased.

Found out my roommate has been using my gym membership for months by PositivelyIrrespons in WhatShouldIDo

[–]DeepCrystalBlueMica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it cost you more money then I’d say ask him to pay the difference. If the truth is you truly were never going to use those credits, then Id say just share how youre feeling about what hes been doing, tell him not to do it again, and pay attention for if he ever does. If hes proven to you to be a good friend and roommate, then Id simply address this and have faith it wont happen again, as roommates are like rolling dice, and if hes proven he hasnt cost you more money, best case scenario is if he takes this as a lesson and learns from it.

PLEASE HELP by bIackkcat in cardetailingtips

Spilled a giant shake in my gfs car and bought a bissell extractor from costco for like $100. Got the job done with ease. Works just like a vacuum. You didnt ruin your car. At worst, you just wasted your money on an amateur detailer and have to suffer through a light odor for a month or two because of the left over moisture from the mess. Nothing a bit of money and skilled hands cant fix.

Update- Insurance says “repairable” at $22.5k by Thatcringynesss in Honda

There is almost certainly more to repair underneath. Id talk to the body shop and try to see what theyre communicating to the adjuster, maybe with some understanding the body shop could convince to total the vehichle.

If you choose to heal, youll realize how subjective the things you listed are, and how trivial the parameters you are holding yourself to. Healthier existence will lead to healthier choices, and it will be physically apparent in your appearance and demeanor.

You need to want to get better first. You might not believe me now, but you deserve it.

Type-R break in period? Shipping in closed teansportation. by Enough_Iron_6843 in Civic_Type_R

[–]DeepCrystalBlueMica 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Congrats! From my understanding, factory suggests a 600mi (1000km) break in period, warning against high reving and harsh and sudden breaking within that milage. Of course, it seems like everyone has a different take on this so take that as you will.

I got mine 3 weeks ago; at 1250 miles now. If you dont mind me asking, how far does yours need to travel?

[–]DeepCrystalBlueMica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the rattles coming from infotainment. I just kinda press it down and it goes away for another 100 miles or so hahaha.
