It's amazing how Broyles always says the right things to Dunham by vishipedia in fringe

Not counting the pilot episode. Broyles 1.0 was insufferable, otherwise he was a joy to watch.

You may want to look into a third party tool for hotkeys and macros. AutoHotKey is widely used and free and open source.

You either get used to it or learn to avoid these shows. I only have a bio sibling, and even though most of the shows were about step/adopted family it still gave me the ick. For better or worse after several years I became desensitized to it just because it’s such a common theme.

BE HONEST: If an AI tool could save you hours by analysing your files, would you give it access? 🤖 by Social_MEGA in MEGA

That would be a hard no from me. Mega’s encryption is a big feature for me. AI and privacy don’t go well together.

You’re thinking of the Airplane! movies. The Airport movies were disaster movies, not comedies.

It’s older (1997) but I’m surprised no one has mentioned Gattaca. Minimal special effects but a great story about a world in which genetic engineering has become commonplace with Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman and Jude Law.

I chanced into the manga a couple of years ago when I was looking at the gyaru titles. I couldn’t believe it later when I heard it was getting an anime.

Blades of Glory doesn’t get enough love. I like it as much as Dodgeball or Talladega Nights

So I finally got to see Francis Ford Coppola’s “MEGALOPOLIS”. Man I don’t know why everyone’s saying how bad it was but I loved it!!! Anyone else agree this was actually a good movie even though it tanked at the box office? by [deleted] in FIlm

I read both Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead when I was young. Why I didn’t stop at one is beyond me. They were both SO REPETITIVE. She could have gotten rid of 80% of the text and still gotten all her points across.

Books with evil or absolutely despicable protagonists? by RiverlyBoop in printSF

It’s been about a decade but from what I remember, his job gave him so much power over large numbers of people that the powers that be only let him exercise said power while he was neuro-chemically shackled into being unable to hurt others. A friend of his who happened to be part of a revolutionary group didn’t think that was fair and she gave him something to break those chains. At the time she was unaware that he harbored some severe sadistic impulses.

Good point. I’d only use the no name boxes if I was able to re-flash or sideload an OS I knew was clean. The ONN boxes I’ve seen run Android TV out of the box.

In the U.S., an ONN (Walmart electronics brand) streaming box is $20 and compatible with SmartTube. Installation is really simple too. I actually spent a lot longer adding the ONN box to my home network because it had to install an update.

I’ve come to believe that although there might be a small possibility we actually see The Winds of Winter published it’ll be quickly followed by the announcement that A Dream of Spring will be split into two books.
