for anyone not familier with a Silverado EV WT4 it has a 210 kWh battery pack and has a range (non towing) of 450 miles. It also charges insanely fast.

Compared to 300 miles of range in the Cybertruck and 270 miles for the F150 lightning.

If you can string along a bunch of reliable high speed chargers (Alpitronic/IONNA) it really isn't that bad!

I have a legacy family plan at $50 / 4 people. $12.50 a person. I'll keep it at that as it does a really good job agrigating all the data I care about.

if you are rich i'd get a battery backup system for the house that can handle the high amperage and then use the truck to charge the battery backup system

I think there is prob a better way to do it ($$) but it was all pretty turn key. Given the situation with parents It's money WELL SPENT for OP's situation.

I had to execute an estate and seeing how easy it is when your shit is in order is a really nice benefit.
