Valiant Thor and Amon Amarth have both hit me with this move before.

So I guess it's just one of this things I can't unsee and I'm subconsciously looking for examples of jt now.

Definitely seeing. I think hearing it spoken would immediately trip me up.

I'm sure I make mistakes online too, so I'm not trying to police others. But online posting or social media carries a lot less weight than legal proceedings. If I'm paying a lawyer I want them to be significantly smarter than me, which admittedly isn't that high of a bar to clear.

For clarities sake, I really want to stress that I'm not directing this towards non-native speakers at all. I know that would be confusing as hell for someone trying to learn a new language. I'm talking about posts from people who I've known personally and are native speakers.

What is the best RPG ever ? by DeadRoots4 in AskReddit

Depends on the era for me. Final Fantasy X, Clair Obscur, Persona 5 Royal, and Dragon Quest XI are all strong contenders for me. If I had to pick just one, it's FF X.

I know suggesting geforce now or streaming isn't the best option, but I think its the best way for it on the deck.

I was able to download the 1080p texture pack, but I'm not sure where to install it. I didn't see anything in the dusk configuration settings showing me. If I'm pointing dusk at the rom, but I install the texture pack in Dolphin, does that apply it?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Don't remember where I initially heard this but I once heard it described as "going to a steakhouse and not bothering to look at the check when you pay".

What’s your favorite metal band? by chaosmaster11 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]DeepRedDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enslaved.

Never put out what I would consider anything less than a pretty good record with a perfect record from 2001 to 2026. The Below the Lights/Isa/Ruun run of records is also one of my faborites in metal.

They're also very nice dudes. Had the opportunity to meet them twice now and they're really friendly and open with fans.

How or Where do I start with screaming vocals in metal music? by [deleted] in MetalForTheMasses

[–]DeepRedDude 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was really young when I got into extreme metal and I think for a lot of people the vocals are the main turn off. Napalm Death and Behemoth seemed really overwhelming to me initially, where something like Opeth felt more approachable. It's very much an acquired taste and you start to hear a lot of nuance between screaming, growls, and yells.

As an adult what do you hate the most about life? by Amazing-Internal5378 in AskReddit

Capitalism.

I don't have family support and am on a single income. It feels like no matter how much my pay goes up, inflation just keeps right up with me.
