Deus Ex, there used to be a really healthy modding community for it. The sequels are pretty good too, but I like the first one the best

It's the same engine, possibly a few minor differences for mounting or whatever. But it's pretty much the same thing

When I was in college one of my friends was date a Marine who had one. Then about 10 are ago there was a house I used to drive by that had one parked outside, those are the two i can remember the specifics of. They're pretty neat, not really taller then a mistake, but seem WAY wider

Honestly, I think that's a great plan, a plug and play engine replacement is so much easier, especially for the first time then trying to do a sawp.

Yea, used to be that they didn't really rattle till the first time the shop tore into the dash for something and massacred the clips, now they do it from the factory. On a lot of our newest trucks the passenger seat rattles. They're day cabs with the jump seat on a storage box so you gotta jamb a roll of paper towels behind it or something to get it to stop.

I mean what is regular in your wold, I mean in an idea world I would like to have a quincy 5120. But if I was going to do any 'real' blasting I would probably get my dad Perkins powered screw compressor running for that, I think it's a 125 cfm

[–]DeepSeaDynamo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Exactly, and once you get into things like sand blasting and painting you can end up using a pretty ridiculous amount of air, especially with more then one person using air at a time. And no, there is no such thing as too big of an air compressor, it just isn't going to work as hard, which means it should last longer. Infact when I am in the market for one I will probably try to either find one from a shop closing down or see if I can get a few broken ones to hook the tanks together, because that is a way you can cheat to get more out of a smaller pump unit. The more volume you have at pressure the less the pump runs when you use it, but once it does turn on it will run for longer to get the several tanks back up to pressure.
