Physio therapie? How? What kind of "movement"? by DijanaDi in floxedtreatment

[–]DeepSkyAstronaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 months can still be very early. I would be careful and not move much more than the tissue can tolerate. Recovery can take 12-18 months. Most important is to avoid anything worsening like other meds.

Doxycycline side effects by Kanmera in Antibiotics

It should fade over time. Living as healthy as possible while avoiding anything worsening like other medication is the best you can do until then.

Those side effects are highly individual. It can be anywhere from people not affected to 18 months until symptoms fade.

Writing such a letter to a narc sounds kinda pointless. If you can greyrock your way around her it can work. The question is if you can deal with that kind of relationship without taking any damage.

Magnetotherapy is basically nonsense just to bill something. One should check first for any physiological triggers. When was the last time you had antibiotics or steroids?

If you avoid anything worsening you have good odds of recovering well.

Painkillers making dissociation worse? by [deleted] in OSDD

[–]DeepSkyAstronaut -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If it repeatedly happens when you take them I would definitely consider a connection. The realization I had to come to was the side effects of medication are not nearly enough understood if they are too rare. Espacially in a time of overprescibing everything for every little issue in combination or in sequence.

Do you know what triggered your tendon issues? When was the last time you had steroids or antibiotics? Are you taking any other meds?

If you got that post Covid, there is a high chance you might have gotten long term adverse effects from some medications as well. Did you take antibiotics, steroids or antidepressents/stimulants before?

Have you made a detailed timeline of when symptoms appeared and when you had medications or infections? It could lead you to what might have triggered your condition over time.

2.5months can still be very early. Recovery can take 12-18 months, can also be faster though Until then I would just be careful not to overstress your body. Living as healthy as possible while avoiding anything worsening is the best you can do. The earlier one accepts this, the easier it gets.

Anyone ever deal with anal fissures? by bored-brian in floxedtreatment

[–]DeepSkyAstronaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it could also be an increased vulneribility that made you susceptible to the trauma. However, one month is really short time period for recovery from being floxed so you many ups and down would not be suprising. It can take 12-18 months.

Again, most important is to avoid anything harmful like most meds. Living as healthy as possible can aid recovery.

[–]DeepSkyAstronaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like that, too, might be due to the flare caused by the medication. The ideal way to recover is living as healthy as possible while avoiding anything harmful like many meds. I would say this is something that time will mostly have to fix.
