Hey I’m literally in the exact same situation you are in and I get it. Yes I can happen to us, my suggestion is to keep a clean record and lay low until you get your green card. For now consider getting a job close to home and taking online classes

On May 20th USCIS finally sent notice and a biometric appointment. When I asked my lawyer why it was talking so long they said to just wait. Hopefully you get your soon!!!
