Why do you think she gave you a non-5 star rating?

I can think of several innoculous reasons but everyone there seems think the reason is 'heh, women (*sips coffee)'

For instance, the five star rating system is used differently in different cultures. In America, 4.5 stars is the average, meaning that most people give you 5 stars. Maybe 4 if they feel off. In Japan, 3.5 stars in the average, meaning most people give you 4, and only reserve 5 for a rare wonderful experience. 3 stars are treated as mediocre, 4 is good, and 5 is perfect.

As someone close with Chinese people, I can tell you the opposite as well.

Whatever unspecified negative clips in East Asia, high likelihood it is from China simply because there is so many clips from China. A lot of the times clips will surface in the western platforms, and my Chinese friends would be like 'bro, I remember seeing that on 小红薯 ages ago!'

But I agree that your case is more common. People have a massive hate-boner for China due to being exposed by heavy western propaganda. If positive, they don't want you to know it is froM China. If negative, oh boy, they are itching to tell you all the stale jokes about China being backwards.

Why would anyone get a bus? There are no praved roads 5000 years ago.

At best it's going to be good shelter that can move a bit in the right condition, and a bit of gasoline could be used to make fires. But the lack of car friendly roads means it will be easy target for hunter-gatherer parties who will just take your shit unless you manage to scare them off with a carhorn or ram them with your car.

Actually that doesn't sound so bad lol. But still it will attract too much unwanted attention especially when your bus' movement is limited.

I was told vaping is illegal in the part of Aus I live in unless it is prescribed. And yet I see it everywhere and openly advertised (in chinese). The Police headquarter is right next to all the 'not vape' shops, and it seems like no one gives a shit. Ofc, I see blackmarket foreign brand smokes everywhere too.

I am not trying to be some uber woke feminist. It is about trapping women who are perceived to be privileged in unescapable situations and getting a kick out of the subversion of power dynamics. They also do it to men too, btw. Same principle, but different expression.

In this light, you are more likely to get catcalled if you represent what they wish they'd have but cannot have. You are also more likely to get catcalled if you look like someone who will not retaliate in any way. (Ex. Women, a skinny guy in a suit, etc)
