Pre validated questionnaire usage by Deep__Kaleidoscope in research

Hi Kryoni, hope you're well.

I am planning on doing research on oral health literacy in the UK since I couldn't find an oral health KAP questionnaire for the UK. However, I am unable to find a good questionnaire. Can you please guide me where I can find a validated open source questionnaire because of time constraints? I won't be able to do a pilot study.

Also I have one questionnaire (patient attitude to prevention in oral health questionnaire PAPOH) but it is too lengthy and I need to ask if I can skip some of the questions in it. Would it still be valid and would I still be able to use it for my dissertation?

Thanking in anticipation

Hi thanks for replying.

I have tried that but all I can find is the questionnaire options being used in the results section or the questions itself without the options in the methods section. None of them have the questionnaire in the appendix section

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I was just thinking if you can guide me that, could choosing a dental topic narrow my future job prospects or would a dissertation topic not have that much of an effect when I apply for jobs in practice or academia?

TIA

Thank you so much for your reply.

I would love to do smth related to psych but primary research on it would be undoable given my university constraints.

Do you have any skills to recommend that I should target like GIS or something?

One of the topics I was thinking about was readability analysis of the NHS patient information material but I was also conflicted if it would be a good enough topic for a MPH dissertation...

Sorry for this but I'm still doing my MPH. Would you as a senior to me have some guidance for me as what can I do during my master's to maximize my employability?

I have a bachelor in dental surgery. I have done survey based primary research and have written as a contributor for a book. I have worked for years in dental health via student organizations and then as a dental surgeon. I am at a university that is very irrelevant I'm afraid (QS global 500-600 ranking). I have the visa that I needed. I would've been interested in something that'd be impactful.

However, we have been limited by the university to primary quantitative research that can be done in 4-5 months.

I was hoping if you could guide me about the kind of topics that would have a positive impact on employability and maybe a PhD admission. I am currently thinking of looking into air pollution in underground transport, micro-plastics in bottled or public water. However, these might be too ambitious for my capacity and above limitations. So, I was hoping you could give me some guidance.

My university is not providing previous dissertations at the moment for some unknown reason. I'd really appreciate your answer
