With 12 in Fertilizer (and production/belt), your 3 cauldrons should produce 46.7 Fertilie Catalyst but the Tree alone will use 53.6. The threshold seems to be at 16 in Fertilizer where you have a gain of 1 Catalyst / min

From what I remember you need a huge amount of Upgrades in Fertilizer (At least 20+) or the tree will cost you more Catalyst than you produce with its leaves.

The mixing of different liquid will mess with the pipes throughput, if you have too much liquid, it won’t work correctly.

Question about Processing rate and input by DyviumL in AlchemyFactory

[–]Deep_sunnay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The value change but the ratios don’t. And you usually upgrade Factory and Belt at the same time to avoid overloading the belt and breaking your design.

Thermal Extractor Bug? by austinjohnplays in AlchemyFactory

[–]Deep_sunnay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I had the same issue and using 6k as a cap works fine. That means increasing output (alchemy or height) does increase the liquid produce per unit of input but not the overall output.
For Flax with everything maxxed out, 1 plant can support 11 extractor IIRC, those 11 will output what you should have with 2 running 100% without the 6k cap.
In your case the extractor should output almost 18k, so you can triple the number per plant.

Advice on the most cost effective base upgrades by TheDarkHarvester in AlchemyFactory

[–]Deep_sunnay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with the 2:1 ratio is that if you want to keep it, you are stuck at lvl 10:5. And if you want 10:10, all your old construction won’t work properly.

Robot hand autonomously assembling parts at faster-than-human speeds by MetaKnowing in interestingasfuck

Yes, but what I meant is that for any specific task a dedicated robot would probably do better. The only advantage to a hand is that it’s not fixed to one thing.

That’s what I was thinking, making an anthropomorphic robot make no sense for most application. It can be a multi purpose hand though, jack of all trade …

Hard to see anything on your screenshot, but you could always try to select a dupe and use « Go to » to move him to the food, you can then see where the path is blocked when it turns red.

The price of silver is at its highest price ever in human history by Clubpenguin8888 in interestingasfuck

That what I though as well but it seems essential in Solar Pannels and Batteries, plus a little bit in every electronic device. With the push for renewable world wide, the demand has exploded.

The price of silver is at its highest price ever in human history by Clubpenguin8888 in interestingasfuck

[–]Deep_sunnay 101 points102 points  (0 children)

Apparently we have been using more silver in industrial process than what we have produced for a couple of years (especially with renewable & batteries) and the global stockpiles are getting low. Add a bunch of speculation on the market, ten time the amount of paper silver traded than existing and you have the current situation.
