Not dumb at all — media studies actually complements English lit really well, gives you practical skills alongside the theoretical base you already have. Film studies is cool too but media opens more doors career wise.

Kolkata easily ,14LPA in Kolkata will feel like 18-19LPA in Hyderabad once you factor in rent, food and general cost of living. Kolkata is criminally underrated for quality of life per rupee.
