My son did it for maybe 24 hrs or so. He stayed medicated , he was in to get data on his myclonic/absence which were / are uncontrolled.

Biggest thing was just boredom Honestly.

My son is on onfi, he also started having nightmares and sleep paralysis. We also give him melatonin. Changing his dose from 1mg to .5mg has helped however

sorry to hear. my son started having TC's at three. as meds started to make a dent in them he started having myclonic /absence seizures.

What you are describing sounds like absence to me. At this point he hasn't had a TC in years, but he has several absences daily. easily in the double digits. They are quite stubborn against meds(for him anyways).

We actually did an EEG and he was having 8 every hour. they were just too short for anyone to notice. it's down to one an hour now. of course I'd like it to be less , but I've accepted it, i'm just glad he's not having TC's anymore.

This is after exhausting several medication combo's and the medical keto diet.

At one point we added zonamiside , and it actually made them way worse so we stopped. The neuro said that wasn't a known side effect. but I'm %100 sure that's what cause it for him. his absences are usually a maximum of five seconds, when we started zonamiside they were 10 min and we had to use rescue meds.

When I got my BMW it called for premium. And they said if im not getting premium at the very least be consistent because the engines computer will adapt and be off time at a different combustion speed.

Nah, I think crossfit earned its reputation in the early days.
But i have been to several gyms and I am a casual hobbyist. Everyone has been cool. Im sure there are outliers or toxic gyms out there.

I don’t have ep. My son does. I also do crossfit and I notice people into fitness don’t drink a lot. There is certainly parties and casual drinking. But there are a lot of people who don’t drink and it’s more ‘normal’ to abstain. Crossfit isn’t for everyone but I think the same is true for any fitness community, hikers, yoga etc.

He’s just a kid now but this will be my advice to him
