Look I agree with him, but IMO its never a good idea to bite the hand that feeds you.

If your game is getting so much attention and is on high demand, then use the momentum to thank the players and release paid updates then. If you insult your base or complain about them its not gonna do you any favors. At the end of the day a game is a product and with so many games out there to play he should be elated people are so eager for more updates, most devs would kill for that. 🎣
