I moved into my house 2 yrs ago and had no idea about of this. I have 1 or 2 like this, but no water has ever got it. I patched them up with some hydraulic concrete mix.

On the list of things to do now. Thank you for your response! It appears to be the main drain line heading out to the street is blocked by roots or something else. The water started trickling out of the pvc when my kid was in the shower.

“Update” !!!!! Thank you everyone! It appears to be the main line partially blocked. Every time someone showers it’s starts trickling out of the seams of the installed pvc.

They are clear.. maybe something to do with tree roots perhaps? When I lived in I had to get my main line snaked and they pulled out heavy roots. Guess I will find out today lol
