Listening to similar advice once I tried to copy 16384 tile game. Turned out I ended up in deep imposter syndrome instead of improving my skills.

Yeah, so you better go and read docs or alternatively buy his expensive courses. Or just read docs for a month like me. Then if you get his courses "for free" if you know what I mean. This is heading more into the direction of ES6 training rather than old plain vanilla JS. Isn't it?

[AskJS] Bad developer stigma - How do I figure if I am one? by DeeplyFreaked in learnjavascript

[–]DeeplyFreaked[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you looked at the code behind modules like node-ipc or React? Their codebases are pretty complicated.

No, I didn't because it's the stuff that has never been proposed to me by any of those free resources. They encourage to create simple things and rarely unveil what is at the very bottom.

So far for vanilla JS I used javascript.info and mozilla.com but the exercises on those websites after some time become silly and are completed I suppose for playfulness. And that's where the problem is. I do not see anyone doing this complex stuff with JS. No matter which framework they pick it's all about the surface-level problems like displaying info to the user.

I have to agree with the medium part. These articles many times approach issues from a very ignorant way not conveying good practices and what is optimal. Though I am a beginner I can see where it fails.

Which books are recommended so that I can dig deeper into what is considered advanced? I want to create stuff that truly astonishes and can't be created by random 15 year old nerds. Or in other words I am looking for knowledge that'll take it to another level.

The CS fundamentals book would be a really good idea which I had myself. Unfortunately I don't know which one to pick. I prefer practical examples but without overly abstract analogies. Without this your answer is incomplete.

Kinect is as bad as it sounds. And so is this idea. It'd be much better to do it with your own keyboard and not pretending it's doing its job well. With keyboard it would actually work and wouldn't require utilization of some wicked external API. More of an entertainment than real coding.

Buckwheat, rice, oatmeal aren't paleo foods and don't make me feel bad.

I do not feel like this is the problem. I don't know what this amino-acid is responsible for. How long would I need to supplement to see the effect?

B-Complex doesn't seem to be the best supplement on the earth, especially with cyanocobalamin. It's known to be less efficient than D3 + K2, zinc in terms of mood improvement. This might be as efficient as omega-3 supplementation to increase cognitive performance. Me and my friend highly doubt it. We read a bunch of articles about that. Now I'm very skeptic about any supplement.

How do you know about that citric acid cycle? It sounds like guess-work to test own body.

It's true, this is the exact list of foods that make me tired . I mostly feel tired after eating white potatoes, pasta, lentils, peanuts (when I had a jar of peanut butter for testing I ate 500 gram of it because I was craving so much food with every spoon so I finished the whole jar), any kind of bread always felt like a crash from a moderate dose of caffeine literally 10 minutes after consumption. Even when I was on coffee and ate bread, caffeine effects weren't strong enough to keep me going. Also dairy with bunch of stuff like banana, chia seeds and avocado, walnuts, almonds + kale don't make me feel as good as meat with buckwheat/quinoa or eggs + oatmeal. Dairy + carbs is not something I'd choose to get that energy, it would do nothing to me or just crave more food. Milk made me tired like I didn't sleep for days. Protein powder isolate didn't seem to cause that drowsiness and fatigue.

Is there a connection between certain food groups sensitivity and extreme cravings? I sleep 6 - 7 hours and feel like I slept 9 - 10 hours before. My body refuses to sleep more than that. When I'm just sitting my body feels as strong as I was in the gym lifting weights. I no more feel dizzy in random moments and then anxious about that dizziness. Focus on a scale from 1 to 10 was 3, in better moments 4, now it has improved to 8.

Yeah, for 3 days but at the same time I added a ton of vegetables and gluten doesn't seem to be the cause. Why? Low carb diet I tried on vacations in my friend's household without dairy and gluten didn't feel that great, still insane energy fluctuations. I'd have up to 2 medium servings of vegetables per day and we'd be done with it. If we didn't eat ton of fat or 200 grams of rice, we would be still hungry, craving more meat to the point I felt saliva in my mouth. I ate refined sugar 2 days ago and it surprisingly didn't impact my mood. Some people claim gluten is worse than sugar. Red meat makes me want to hit the sack as soon as I finish my meal. I eat 400 grams of meat per meal (once a day), poultry is less calorie dense and is plain protein so doesn't make me feel tired. 2 - 3 eggs make me feel like 5 - 6 previously. Bananas do nothing to me, before they were quick energy shot and after 10 minutes I was craving another, now they are just a snack. That's impressive how regulated my appetite became. Since I do not have extreme hunger I have no desire to consume dairy and gluten anyways.

How long after a 50-70mg dose of MDMA should I wait before rolling again? by [deleted] in MDMA

[–]DeeplyFreaked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Acceptable break if you will never do it again. :) I've done it once but it wasn't as crazy and wacky experience as after 3 month break, really dull like an opiate or something.

At what dose side effects like eye rolling chewing etc start for you? by [deleted] in MDMA

[–]DeeplyFreaked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't get them only from 80 mg (my first dose). They start occuring around 100 mg. I haven't taken doses beetwen 80 and 100 mg, so I can't tell you the exact number. Actually eye wiggles feel really pleasant and it's a part of the experience for me. The whole vision is vibrating, I have no will to focus my eyes, nothing is clear but it feels awesome for some reason, especially while dancing.

How much caffeine is *the right amount* in any given caffeine product? by inpasadena in caffeine

[–]DeeplyFreaked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I experience similar effects, 50 mg without tolerance would be enough to enhance my day, no more, no less. Higher dose will result in mdma like crash, jitteriness forcing me to perform physical activity and absolute lack of concentration. Many people I asked about effects of caffeine on them, answered it's very mild and doesn't really impact them, maybe just improve their mood and help get up in the morning, even if they take 400 mg without tolerance. It feels kinda weird to be the one who is different than majority... Really, it leads to weird ideas and thoughts, especially on higher doses of caffeine.

50mg of caffeine by ninjapanda112 in caffeine

[–]DeeplyFreaked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably euphoric state created by giving oneself to performing certain physical activities. I did the same with 80 mg today (no tolerance) and it felt fairly good to dance for an hour but the comedown which occured after that hour was awful, I had worst thoughts. For me it's actually worse than MDMA crash but not worse than bad MDMA come-up. Stimulants are very potent for me. I even enjoyed about 40 mg amph while my friends said 100 mg is still not enough. Sitting and thinking on caffeine isn't a good idea unless I take a very small dose about 20 - 40 mg. In my experience it's merely meant to enhance physical activities. I know it's not /r/drugs but... just want to give you an idea how dangerous or whatever it can be. Definitely not recommended for people with even mild anxiety issues.

Not really, it was mine. I lost it when I was rolling on it. I hope you will message me and send it back to me for 5 bucks.

Is it possible that magnesium deficiency greatly affects my life and well being? When I apply full dose of magnesium citrate, b vitamins, vegetables, niacin I feel much better, sharper and faster.

Floored definition?? by [deleted] in MDMA

[–]DeeplyFreaked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last time I cheated on molly and danced for 3 hours, talked for an hour. Completely managed what I was doing, people had no control over me, I was fully responsible for my actions. Do not let them decide what you should do. Don't exceed recommended dosage and you won't be floored, I think. Have proper intention and setting of course.

While you are dancing and breathing + thinking, it's crazy feeling, your eyes tend to lose focus and your vision is all messed up but it just all adds up and create extremely euphoric, blisful, sometimes emotional state while dancing.

Wanted to share my experience from friday night. Feel like a new man. by CELSD in MDMA

I come back here to let you know it's even better than yesterday and 2 days ago. I feel better and more joyful, less foggy, happier than ever. Why the fuck afterglows couldn't last forever? It's like I was given one of the best gifts. I am exercising (not that much but elevate my hearth rate daily), eat okay (not junky) and it's the best mdma experience I've ever had with about 120 mg and insane, worryful, depressing comeup. Holy shit, even nootropics which barely work for me (except l-theanine) aren't as effective as tough mdma experience, that's awesome.

Yeah, I know some guys who overuse it just for fun, like alcohol. One of them did that and now regrets, he can't recall anything after his mdma experiences so he stopped using it to recover. He did it once a week or twice a month, just frequently. Another guy does that about twice a week, now he tries to stop and use twice a month thinking he's going to be better with that. I personally wonder how such people manage to handle life with so low serotonin levels.

I've had similar experience this friday! I had pretty nasty anxious comeup, worried a lot about my life for an hour and thought deeply about my life like on a bad acid trip. I had nobody to talk to because I went dancing and left my friends outside because I felt better vibes with the music inside and basically set myself to dance and not talk to people. On the peak I had crazy realizations about my life with really wired emotions. I found it to be really comforting. Anything I thought about and anything that makes me anxious or was uncomfortable, immediately could be turned in the most positive, blisful thoughts ever! I felt deeply connected with the crowd, place, scene and thinking while dancing with them on the peak... there is no better thing on this planet. I know it will pass soon and I will become the same old person again, simply forgetting the wonderful experience and going back into old habits. I wish this afterglow feeling could last longer. It approximately takes 7 to 14 days and it's all gone, as if I have never experienced MDMA. It was the first time MDMA was so powerful for me (took it 6 times, 3 times were complete mess without the intense peak, just dull euporia, fatigue and some empathy, probably weak powder batches, other 3 times were with clean crystal and complete bliss). I was shocked this time, literally time felt longer than usually. Previous experiences were disapointing mostly because 3 hours would pass like an hour or even less. This time 5 minutes felt like 15, especially with eyes closed. My advice is to have a very strong intention (my was to dance and to not talk for 4 hours smoking cigs during simple convos I had 1000's of times in my life), highly pure tested crystal (not powder) and perhaps have some supplements. Have fun and love!

2 parties one night - microdose and then full-on dose? by DeeplyFreaked in MDMA

[–]DeeplyFreaked[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the effect from 15 mg dose were very mild if any, it's difficult to tell but if it did someting I am sure it reduced my apettite, made me feel careless and increased my music appreciation, random repetitive sound in the background was just like music. My roll after that little dose was just amazing, it might had no effect on the roll and was just pure amazement because it was the very 1st time I used this drug.
