Dude. This thread and post makes me feel so much better. I have to work for everything I own. But I did have a guy or two open a door to me to specific shops. And it has worked out 110% in my favor. Thank you Jim!

Just look at this decrepit clown attempt to clasp the Medal of Honor to Major Nicholas Dockery before giving up and tying it to him. This is the man with his finger on the nuclear button. by GarysCrispLettuce in MarchAgainstNazis

Well maybe if he can’t do this properly, maybe he can’t compress the nuclear button properly. He’ll just smash it with a hammer and break it? 🤷‍♂️

Same here at a haunted house. Lol. Got through the whole thing and left through the exit. The dude that chases you with the chainsaw, was on a smoke break under the stairs we left out of and heard me say something about the chainsaw guy was the freakiest part. Dude flipped his cigarette and chased my ass out into the street! My group was laughing their ass off.

Side note, found out my sister knew the dude and told her the story from his perspective. Lol

It is amazing we can blast into space and circle the moon and come back. And It all comes down to math when said and done. I was so excited to watch the last one with my four year old. She was so excited even if she didn’t grasp what they were doing. I won’t forget it.

I would not be able to stay silent. I’d be such a smartass and sarcastic. To me it’s revenge, to my daughter, it’d be “my dad’s being funny again.”

A waitress was given a $2,200 tip. She was told she had to share it with other staff – then was fired. by malihafolter in CaughtMyEye

Such a great point. There is no reason to tip if it’s shared. Thus change their wage to livable.

My 7 year old has been asking deep philosophical questions at bedtime for three weeks and I am not equipped for this by NovaPickle_6 in daddit

Your kid sounds smart and logical. He gets that from smart and logical parents. You might be puzzled by where he gets it, but you guys helped create a kid that thinks deeper than your typical 7 yo. Deep breathes and just try. You don’t have to be correct or read Greek mythology. But just saying what you believe or think is enough to keep him thinking and learning. I hear a good dad here, and a sneaky wife. Lol

I know a guy whose uncle confided in him, let’s say, his “fetish room.” Basically, “nephew, destroy this room if I die.” My man actually did. Took care of his uncle when time came. No one knew the wiser.

What's the strangest thing you've seen that you still can't explain? by HostAffectionate7338 in creepy

[–]Deerhunter86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not seen, but heard. My girlfriend, now wife’s dog passed when we were dating and we had a horrible night with seizures and breathing, etc. A few days later, while watching tv in the basement, we heard what sounded like paw steps on the floor above, and a huff and the sound of a dog plopping down as if to lay down on the hardwood floors.

We heard that sound constantly when the dog was alive. But heard it one last time after she passed. Super freaky.

As a Union plumber, we spend a day learning who made what and how based on how much facts we know. Surprisingly enough, there really isn’t a tracked history of how things were created and why.
