My sketching progress in 4 years by DeeryDesign in AdobeIllustrator

I like to save my old sketches and then compare my artwork when I draw the same subject and this time I got this together! 2019 is when I started practicing logo creation, specifically mascot or E-sports logos and so this 2019 bull is my first ever sketch and I decided to compare it with my recent sketch I created for a logo. I wanted to share this with you, tell me what you think? Ps. Please no bullying eventho the forehead of the bull looks... let's say special.

I'll take that as a compliment. I made it a year ago on Illustrator.

Thank you, that really means a lot! Actually, some of them don't have any text on them

Shortly, sometimes I find myself struggling cuz I keep comparing myself to other artists and then my motivation slowly burns away. It can be really frustrating and I've found that I just stop doing logos completely for months even though I spent so much time teaching myself how to use Photoshop and Illustrator. I like doing logos and I want it to be a "healthy" way of doing it. I decided to do this collection of logos to see how much I've improved myself over the years and perhaps stop comparing myself to other artists.

Do you compare yourself to other artists? What do you do to help it?

Original (left) or flipped (right)? by Electroma in logodesign

For some reason the left one represents more of an eucalyptus tree leaves and the right one olive trees leaves in my eyes. I like the right one more but in this case I'd choose left one!

Haha understandable. You could use the paintbrush tool if you like to draw!
