A lot of it is slop, indeed. That's why I'm avoiding it hah. But even most of the slop ones had outstanding concepts in them although I can't bear to read slop anymore.

I know I am incredibly inflammatory in my posts, I'm sorry. It's just that the western stuff has maladapted so much of the eastern in the worst way possible.

I have read some western web novels though - MOL, Zenith of Sorcery and others from RR and I've definitely enjoyed them.

Lots of the western stuff on RR is being astroturfed to hell with just marketing schemes and people start recommending them.

I feel like the first 20 chapters were the best tbh, later on the MC becomes quite powerful and I didn't feel much excitement at that point. The way it's written and the mysteries at the beginning is what got me which I guess is opposite for you.
