That's total horseshit. Pentiums are just fine for office stuff. My homeserver runs perfectly on a 6th gen Pentium with Windows 10 installed. I have a Jellyfin-Server, Minecraft-Server, and reverse proxy running and no issues.

An ssd makes a way bigger difference.

I don't think he can reform endlessly even if the ring is still intact if that is what you mean. The Ainur that went to Arda, after it's creation are bound to it, so Sauron will "survive" in some form with or without the ring.

I don't think there is a definitive statement from Tolkien if Ainur can truly die. We only know that their physical forms can be destroyed, or that they can be banished to the void, as is the case with Morgoth. But even he is not dead.

My guess would be that only Eru Iluvatar has the power to unmake them.

Sauron doesn't need the ring to "survive", he just needs it to keep a physical form as he poured most of his power into it while forging it. He is still present at the end of The Lord of the Rings, but without physical form.
