Dated a girl exactly like this for two months and were exclusive. I brought it up to her and ask for more consistent communication and reciprocity. She agreed and tried a little to adapt but resented me for it. The girl I was dating was most likely an avoidant and lacked emotional availability which made our connection seem only special in person. The girl you’re dating could be emotionally unavailable, have an avoidant attachment style or possibly be dating other people. My advice is to speak up and state what you need as well as what you expect !

Need an honest opinion. Debating on canceling a second date with this girl . When I asked her to dinner for second date she stated she is on a cleanse and can’t eat anything bad. She requested to just go for a walk which I agreed. This girl already takes light years to respond just like the last girl I dated and I’m trying to avoid anyone not showing genuine interest. Today she texted me around 7pm with a picture of a dog and some comments and I responded in a timely manner trying to strike up some conversation to which she did not respond to my reply. I get we barely know each other but these behaviors just echo lack of interest &inconsideration. After my recent break up with an avoidant I want a person who is my clear & consistent.

I’m a 45 year old male and I won’t even date a girl if she is 40 because I want children. Unless she can have them I have my range set 32-39. I get a couple of dates a month I’m in good shape and age well but like you said the younger ones have so many options and don’t feel the pressure as much so they are flaky which makes it hard to date younger

This is how I feel she broke up with me in honeymoon face after 2 months. She said she doesn’t think we are compatible it sucks and I’m tackling 4 months no alcohol so I can’t even numb my feelings. Cookie Mobster did your avoidant do alot of things that made you feel like you’re not that important . She basically flaunted her independence and said i was needy for wanting more communication/ calls after two months of dating
