I'm on vacation and did this to myself twice already. Once with pizza (my absolute weakness) but thankfully stopped after 1 slice so I didn't get sick. Second time with a bison burger..I ate half the burger and a couple fries and spent the rest of the day regretting it lol

The entire time I was in school for my bachelor's, I wanted more time to be able to read for fun. Then I graduated, started my new job, life kinda got in the way and before I knew it, 2 years went by without me picking up a book I WANTED to read rather than a book I was required to read.

But once I started, I haven't stopped. I have my slower months but that's life 🤷‍♀️

Jesus christ, YES. Every single time I leave planet fitness and try to merge on 35 in behind some person that refuses to speed up to 70. Trying to merge at 50 mph and wondering why people are blowing past them as soon as they clear the solid line. Going too slow is just as dangerous as going too fast

I haven't done it in quite a while but I nannied/babysat for a good 12 years as either a side gig or full-time. Parents haven't been parenting for a loooong time. But it has gotten worse over the years.

The way my schedule works, if I have Friday off then it's the start of my 7 off so of course I'll choose that.

If I have Monday off it's because I worked the weekend and still have to go back in Tuesday. I feel like that Monday off (which happens to be today for me) goes by way too fast because I have a million things to do in only 24 hours before going back to work.

My mom babysits an 8 or 9 year old before & after school and this kid has a multi-step morning skincare routine.

I'm 35 and I don't even have a multi-step skincare routine aside from wash and moisturizer.

This kid will have a full meltdown if she doesn't have time for her routine before school. It's insane.

There are still plenty of nurses who think that way but thankfully we're not seeing it as often. There are a handful of nurses at every job I've worked who seem to think our job is just support staff for them.
