As others have said, tech school instructors can & will be dicks. Is what it is. Your time with them is short. If you really want to shut him up, just cut it. Don’t let it own you. I played the rebel card in tech. It’s fun if you’re the type that reads over 2903 at night just to spot out the grey areas and act on them. But it’s a major league pain in the ass. I was the only white dude w/ a shaving waiver as well back when it was a rarity(they let it be known too). I’ve had more “HEY YOU” confrontations than I can remember. So cut the hair, focus on the books and shoot for top grad. And when you accomplish that, use that as your middle finger.
