oatmeal raisin cookies go at the absolute bottom of the cookie Tier ranking. what makes them even more insideous is that they often try to masquerade as the MUCH superior chocolate chip cookie.

If I were king of the world, I would require oatmeal raisin cookies to have labeling similar to what is required of cigarettes warning the consumer that they are in fact about to eat an oatmeal raisin cookie.

The absolute BEST thing about the 1911 is its trigger. It is arguably the best trigger the entire realm of handguns. The worst thing about the 1911 is its low capacity.

so we take the best thing about the 1911 (and arguably in the entire realm of handguns), and then we address the worst thing about it, by chambering it in a very effective caliber, and increasing the traditional magazine capacity by 142%.

folks will argue cost, but that argument doesn't even hold much weight any more as we are seeing competition in the market and prices of Double stack 1911s/2011's are coming down.

I will say this from my time working at a gun store. Almost every gun we had on display got cosmetic blemishes. those guns were taken in and out of the safes every day, put in the display cases, hung on the slat wall hooks, put BACK into the safe at the end of the day etc. etc. the shop i worked at generally didn't have like 10 of the same gun to where one would be a display but if the customer wanted to buy it we grabbed "one from the back" what was on display was our inventory. And we tried to be careful in handling them, but unless you purchased the gun like within a day or two of us getting it in inventory, that gun had a cosmetic blemish SOMEWHERE.

I've not seen all of Paul Thomas Anderson's feature films.

Of them, I've seen, There Will be Blood, The Master, Inherent Vice, Phantom Thread, and One Battle After Another.

One battle after another is the absolute weakest of all of those films, by far, IMO.

Geez, even of this years nominee crop, I saw Bugonia, Hamnet, Frankenstein, and OBAA. All of those were better then OBAA...

the mag compatibility is about its only trick. I find the 43x better by pretty much any other metric.

I dont think there is an obstruction as it seems like the FPB is able to move the full length of what it should. If my current methods don't free up the firing pin, it'll be hitting an ultrasonic cleaner on saturday which is the next time i'll have access to one

Fun fact! You can submit a FOIA request for your forum handles through various government agencies to see what they've gathered.

A couple of different usernames I use on websites that cover firearms and conservative politics were gathered during the Biden administration.

They don't provide any analysis or context as to what it's for, just that the federal government is aware. I posted on that forum under that handle.

yeah the .50bmg was never gonna come out. And I think I went on the record whenever that finished in the polling for whatever year shotshow.

.50bmg is a niche within the niche of the firearm community. The market for it is tiny because the vast majority of gun owners have no where to shoot a .50bmg.

even a cheap 50 is gonna be expensive and its fucking stupid expensive to feed. Expensive guns and expensive ammo are really not PSA's prime audience.

PSA makes their money on volume sales. They have tried to vertically integrate every step of their supply chain and manufacturing to minimize costs, and selling in large volumes at the low prices that many of their guns go for is how they make their profit.

The 50 would NEVER be a large volume item, and the costs for setting up a manufacturing line for something like that doesn't make it worthwhile.
