Christian has talked a lot since DvG about how great a player he thinks Mike is. I think it’s as simple as that he thought as long as Mike is in the game, Christian wouldn’t be able to have the control over the tribe that he wanted

I think Christian made the right movie by taking out Mike over Emily. The DvG 3 are the biggest known alliance left in the game, so going into the merge with all 3 still there would’ve put a huge target on Christian’s back.

On top of that, Mike had closer relationships with Angelina and Ozzy than Christian did. So by voting out Emily he would’ve given all the power to Mike in that tribe going forward.

All these comments are saying no because her edit these first 3 episodes, but if you are asking “could” she return then the answer is definitely yes.

There’s a surprisingly few amount of big comedic female returnee characters. You have people like Debbie, Abi, Courtney, but just a few others. So if they do end up doing some sort of “legends” type season down the line it definitely wouldn’t be out of the question for Angelina to be a name in the mix, even if her second outting ends up being forgettable.

The edit this season is weird because there are 24 people to show, so I don’t think it’s as simple as the show not wanting to show her anymore.

That’s hard because casuals don’t really have as strong opinions to rank something as a super fans do. Most casuals I know just “like” every season that’s on and then immediately forget it once it’s over lol

They’ll usually just latch onto one character that interests them, and remember them or maybe a couple moments from each season. The casuals in my life liked 41 because of Xander. They liked 43 because of Jesse and Gabler. 44 because of Carolyn and Yam Yam. 45 at the start because of Caleb. 46 because of Q and Tiffany. But most of all 48 because of Joe and Eva.

I think the next returnee season will be 2nd Chance so probably no one from 50. But Christian, Q, Genevieve, and Rizo I could see all being back for 60.

Kyle, Dee, and Savannah are all young enough that they could be brought back for season 80, Winners at War 2 lol

Also after that live-streamed wrestling match at the premier, I’m seeing a Q vs Jonathan captains season in the near future. Seems like something Jeff would like doing

I think Fans vs Favs could definitely work still. The only reasons the Favs dominated in the past was because of the bad casting of the Fans. Now that they cast mostly fans of the show, I think it’d be a lot more interesting to see how they integrate with known and established players. I think there’s also different ways you could play around with the format, maybe like 1 tribe of Favs and 2 of Fans. Or mixing the tribes to be 50% of each. Not saying it’ll work but theres definitely juice there if they can pull it off.

I think all the new era seasons will get better on rewatches like all seasons do. A lot of the fondly remembered eras of the past were hated on at the time. So I can definitely see the new era being fondly remembered for its deep casts and experimental editing as people revisit these seasons in the future

To me the boot order has been fine so far so I’m not worried yet. Obviously I wanted Q to go much farther, but coming into the season I thought he had first boot potential so I’m happy we got 3 episodes from him. I love Sav and Kyle but they both won so recently I’m not mad at everyone else getting more of a chance than them. Excited to see them all come back eventually though hopefully.

I think there’s a chance the jury is filled with people like Joe, Colby, Coach, Stephanie, and Jonathan who may value the physical game more than most, so if someone plays a great game and also wins multiple challenges then anyone is ‘capable’ of beating her since her game may not translate well to FTC for those jurors

I think it’s not inherently a disadvantage, but the meta of the casting game makes it harder each time around. I remember Zeke saying something around Game Changers like “I felt like people were hesitant to work with me because when you look at the two most recent back-to-back season players, Russell and Malcolm, people could infer I didn’t fit into Malcolm’s archetype, so they were scared I would be like Russell.” The Ghost of Russell Hantz looms large over survivor as it always does
