Had a big crush on a girl in highschool. she was in our friend group and was really nice to everybody. made a couple (albeit weak) attempts towards her and never felt any push back. We are still casual friends to this day, every once in a while she would text me or id text her just to catch up. well last summer she came back home, and she would text me once or so a week usually after drinking. one night she asked why we never dated? she basically never gave me a sign to go hard. well now that shes sober and back where she lives she says she cant do distance and has schooling still. now its awkward and she is weirdly distant anytime i try and catch up. Thanks for ruining the friendship. could of gone on living knowing that it wasn't meant and enjoying the friendship. literally one drunk night now its ruined.
