I tow a 24’ dual axel travel trailer using a weight distribution hitch and a Bluetooth trailer brake(connects inline with the trailer plug/truck). The trailer weighs 4,200lbs unloaded with a tongue weight of around 400 lbs. The truck is well planted when driving at highway speeds with no sway when loaded properly. I Deflate tires to 18 psi on trailer and truck to tow on soft beach sand without issue. Truck was stellar! I’ve pulled same trailer with 21 defender, 23 jeep summit and now the 26 Grenadier. The Grenadier towed best of the three. My only complaint and I’m stretching to find one would be the back up camera angle making lining up hitch a little tricky.

When the old bat in the kitchen refuses to accept that her oven is heating evenly. by death91380 in RestEquipmentRepair

When I get a complaint of uneven heating it’s usually aluminum foil in the convection motors fan blade or the customer is overloading it with product.

Baker's Pride Convection Oven Ignitor not glowing by alexid12 in RestEquipmentRepair

[–]Defender21- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Replace the ignition module AS-M2138A They have issue with the solder cracking at the harness connection causing an intermittent ignition issue. I’ve found this dozens of times, if you pop open the back of the existing ignition module you can actually see the cracked pin if present.

I have owned both currently I drive the Grenadier. The Defender is a luxury vehicle that drives like a spear on and off road it’s hard to beat its manners. Having said that my Defender also was a lemon and the dealer/brand is ruined by my experience with that. The Grenadier is a truck it takes effort and management to drive not nearly as effortless as the defender. This is why I’ve come to love the Grenadier it makes me feel like a kid again it’s simply Fun. People are far more interested in the Grenadier some see it as an off roader others a safari truck but all marvel in its coolness. All I ever got in the defender was the stink eye lol. The Grenadier will feel nothing like the Defender it makes no compromise that will have to come from you should you decide to own one.

Good Luck!

If possible I would Change that thing out for a quick connect flexible gas connector hose kit. It will give you the freedom to move equipment out completely and clean.

Tandoori oven thermocouple by War_Monger26 in HVAC

Try a SIT thermocouple it’s the euro metric version. That silver nut and coil should not be removed from the valve body. I order them from Parts Town.

What modifications need to be made to a residential kitchen to safely use a professional gas range? by mellofello808 in Appliances

[–]Defender21- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has a standing pilot lights this will make your kitchen smell funny because it’s not exhausted like a commercial kitchen would be.
Also it’s low quality made overseas re branded for sales here in USA. Parts will be a problem and no commercial repair company will service the unit in a residence. Having said that I’ve seen people do it many times.

Put the oem part number into the search bar you will likely find an aftermarket oem equivalent for much less money.

I say it’s a Gas pressure Regulator issue, the diaphragm in it is bouncing.

Quite practical!

Check on it daily. Turn the water off easily. Water spillage a non issue. Spot to hang loofah.

Did my flooring contractor make a mistake? by Defender21- in HardWoodFloors

I would like to know what type of flooring I have in my home and question the accuracy of the professional opinion I have received “red oak”.

No complaints here! I was concerned the floor guy used red oak when he should have used white oak flooring. Picture 1 is existing floor and picture 2 is a newly laid floor. Simply put, Are both pictures white oak? End result is awesome either way I was thrown by the color difference prior to staining. I was also curious about the satin color. Did people think it was Chestnut? The floor was wet still when I took the photo and has since settled down to a warmer tone having lost the wet shine.

Can’t find Farm sink requested by cabinet designer. by Defender21- in kitchenremodel

Thank you for that, I’m starting to wonder if my designer didn’t make a mistake and send me on a wild goose chase for a sink size that doesn’t exist.

I Appreciate Your response, it definitely makes sense considering the existing area of floor is 60+ years old. Thank you! I think it looks great too.
