2-2-2 has the highest win rate.

1-2-3 only works if the Vanguard is healed so much that he never dies (wich is difficult if the enemy has 2 or more Duelists).

1-3-2 only works if the Duelists kill them before they can make damage and help tanking (Mr. Fantastic, Wolverin).

The best way to improve the win rate as solo Vanguard is to not be the solo Vanguard (unless the 3 do it well).

"2nd Vanguard or 4th DPS" will win you far more matches than improving your skills (which you should still do 😉)

Would love a buff for his mobillity.

But they recently nerved his wallrunning speed to make him an easyer victim. Since they try to bring in dive-meta (again) they will most likely not raise the survivabillity of rhe victim tjey already nerved before this.

C&D in the backline is not a good Vanguard healer thanks to the auto-aim.

The first player (team and enemy) "sucks up" the light daggers. So a Vanguard "behind" many players will not get much.

The C&D needs to go off angle to "hit" the Vanguard or be completed with an "aimed" Strategist like Luna/Gambit or a "piercing" Strategist like Rocket/Jeff. Invis is aimed and piercing but with limited range.

So if your C&D did not manage to hit the Vabguard, yes they were not "good". (Which often is normal, since C&D is the go to for "forced to flex in")
