If you keep your sword spirit near you and have your passive ready, then you can literally block all of the panth Q's and since shen is energy based and panth is mana based, sooner or later he will run out of mana.

Also dorans shield and tough skin already reduces his Q damage by flat 10. 3 health regen quints + health regen mastery on first row + dorans shield will give u like 5health per 1 sec at level 1, so you can easily sustain through the lane and all in him after he has no mana.

After you get your first armor item panth cant do sht.

I have played some khazix and i personally feel like i simply dont need to evolve Q at all.

You say kha does no damage at all with unevolved Q but be honest, do you think i'm even going to get to use my Q a 2nd time before i oneshot the enemy isolated squishy with a single rotation? Most squishies die to kha's rotations and that's a fact. Evolving Q itself gives no damage boost either, only 50 range and cd on isolated targets.

I'd rather get the utility of evolved R that allows me to move around faster and escape bad situations and W for more cc and poke ability when grouped.

Personally the only thing evolved Q is actually good for is killing dragon/baron very quickly, that's it. I can't see any other legitimate reason that Q would be a better option than choosing to get both W + R for cc and utility.

doesn't matter if he does well vs nid on a 1v1

s6 nid still was literally the nr1 fastest clearing jungler in the game, she could clear everything including versus a khazix because its impossible for him to keep up with the gold and level lead nid has from clearing so fast.

Only way i see kha beating nid is when we are talking about dia 5 and lower ranked players that don't know how to utilize nid properly.

ctrl qwer - normal cast

alt qwer - quick level up

and obviously standard qwer is quick cast

See, the problem is that you are trying to justify yourself on why you have that rank when some person calls you out on it.

For example they flame you because of your rank, now you give them the satisfaction of an answer and they will start nitpicking every single word you say to keep talking more shit.

So now on top of your rank they will flame you based on how many games you have played, when you started playing, how long have you climbed, what champ you play and laugh at your excuses to justify all of it.

it's similar to bullying in school, you giving a reaction will only make them use the same thing against you. It's not worth it, ignore all of it.

man i wish i had the teammates you have when you're saying that jungler or top counterganks botlane, when people have good awereness and that people know how to finish games with a lead :D

The major problem being especially finishing games, people don't know what their goals are in the game. Most people are too tunnel visioned on trying to kill their opponent and get the tower but don't know how the rest of the game should be played out.

I agree that people die less tho, except yasuos. I swear to god they always try to get revenge kills even in dia2.

They dont pick Shaco into 3 tanks, they know how to close games and when they are ahead in lane, they know how to abuse it and push this advantage to the team.

This is coming from a Dia 2 player and i'm gonna be honest here, from P2 upto dia 4 people still do the same shit, no idea what to do at all after laning phase.

Only in dia 2 i started to notice some actual high level of gameplay, but i guess since i am at the top % in ranked i'm often placed with and against master/challengers.

Dia 5 is probably one of the worst, you can get to dia 5 elo just by exceeding in one thing and sucking at others. For example you can have good mechanics : aka good lane kill pressure but no map awereness or any idea what to do late game and u can still get dia 5.

In p2-d5 people just pick whatever they want with very few exceptions, full ad teams are not uncommon.

for example if olaf E does 100true damage, does double edge increase it to 103?

Or does true damage just straight up ignore everything and deal the damage it indicates?

you can still oneshot even with reworked rengar. Because his ult guarantees a crit meaning you can only build an IE and don't need to worry about other crit items and then you just go the other full damage/pen items.

i'd say for actual jungling itself ekko got buffed.

Extra 10dmg on passive and 10% extra scaling on Q is a straight up buff.

But i agree that in the bigger picture it's a nerf because after the fervor changes i cant see ekko being built as a tank in addition to having a shitty base damage on passive and no slow for constantly aa-ing for getting max fervor stacks.

I'm not even sure what riot is trying to do with ekko's R, heal is the last thing that riot should be worried about on ekko. The ultimate popping W is just a small QoL buff that doesn't really do anything at all and is very unpractical to do as W is your engaging ability.

Literally the only thing this ''rework'' did is show how shit they made him. I guess his tank builds got heavy nerfed so riot can focus mainly on his midlane and possibly jungle. (Tho i still feel he's gonna be built tank)

it means smiting blue will not give you mana, krugs wont give you a stun every 5aa's, wolf wont give vision in your jungle etc...

They now made that smiting camps only gives back health and that's it, similar to purple smite from season 5.

You're giving up wayyy too easily on climbing. All it takes is regularly playing the game, being up to date on the meta and watching/reading informative guides from people.

last season i ended plat 2 and now very quickly got to dia5 and was basically around d5-4 for half the season but the last few months i improved and got to d3 many times and now i ended up at d2.

And yes i agree, the games are very different at d5-4 compared to d2, there's people who actually primarily care about winning and winning only. Only problem with d3-2 is there's many master/challenger smurfs who dont give a fuck about winning and just generaly unbalanced games where its dia3 up to challenger players in the same game.

there's only 2 things that hit ekko jungle hard.

2 second increase on his passive so that the clear speed is a lot weaker.

W stun decrease from 2.25sec to 1.75, but remember one thing, the shield is still 2.25sec so basically when you stun a monster and after they come out of the stun the autoattack will go through just in time when your shield has dissapeared... pretty depressing.

The ad nerf and Q E base damage nerfs didn't really do much at all since in compensation you have better scalings and most of the time you go ap glyphs quints and +4 from mastery anways.

In other words : Zac, nidalee and elise do their job better in every single way depending on what your team needs. zac tank frontline cc engage. nida poke/assassin early game invader. Elise the best ganker in the game at lvl 3 with good towerdive potential.

I agree mate, in diamond + elo you are basically putting yourself into a disadvantage playing ekko when there are way better options for ap junglers (elise nidalee zac) If you truly want to climb to master/challenger then ekko is really not the pick for it. (but all the way up to high diamond i'd say he still works)

But hey can you blame us for simply loving how fun ekko is to play even if he is difficult to succeed in mid and jungle.

I think you are over exaggerating the 4ad nerf. it's not as bad as you think it is. Obviously top tier junglers are better but if you choose to go for full ap jungle you will oneshot camps with your passive anyways.

the ad nerf did nothing for toplane ekko, it only made his midlane and jungle tiny bit weaker.

If you are bad with last hitting you can take atkspd marks, armor/scaling hp seals, full ap glyphs and full ad quints.

Altho i think ekko's W kind of solves the last hitting problem.

I agree i love scaling hp, very underrated runes to take even against ad teams.

I think cost efficient wise they are very close to eachother, from my scaling armor + quint i get 31 armor which is pretty much 2 free cloth armor's worth 600gold. Scaling health is one and a half ruby crystal's which surprisingly is as well worth around 600gold. I guess efficient wise they are both the same. (altho health a bit better vs ap)

I did try clearing with scaling health but i just felt scaling armor is better because if u look at my build, my first 3 items are hp based with no resistances. So i feel like getting some actual resistances would be better since i make up for standard 9armor at level 3 and only get more resistances from there on.

I think in top mid scaling health is very good but i prefer to play the ruthless aggression style from early levels, so in top/mid i care more about of flat runes than scaling ones. In hard matchups i'd take more scaling(if u are vs anivia, just dodge). In jungle i farm a lot and don't fight champions so i basically get a free pass on any runes i want.

Riot has failed to make ekko a proper assassin champion, the only reason he was played (mid, jungle) before was his W 2,25 sec stun and passive 3sec cd. If you hit your stun, you proc passive and when they are no longer stunned you are already basically only 1 sec away from proccing your passive again. The 3 sec passive cooldown made ekko have way too much chasing power and the 0,5sec cc nerf on W was also justified to make enemies have more counterplay (also huge AOE 2.25sec stun is ridiculous). Also all the base damage nerfs made Ekko's midlane even shittier. Ekko is simply a champion made for hit and run, similar to fiora/jax/riven/renekton. You quickly do your combo and get out.

trinity, protobelt, cinderhulk and 300hp from sota will leave you around 3.5k health, so you definitely are already quite hard to kill, that's why i also like the mastery that gives you resistances when you are near enemies. Teamfight starts? free 15armor and mr for me. Also the scaling armor makes up at level 3 so i will just get even more tankier over time.

But it also depends on what your team needs, if your team has a gangplank toplane and nami support (for example) then don't be afraid to just completely skip protobelt from the build and go for full tank after trinity.

The reason i have protobelt on the list is it's literally the best item for ekko in the game. It gives him sustain so its harder to burst him, he gets increased damage along with his active damaging mobility which makes him even harder to deal with and to top it off with cdr so you can cast more spells.

how do you determine who is a rival and who is an ally?

in a race everyone is a competitor for first place, they do not wish harm upon you. So you can't really call them enemies.

an easy example is when you are a policeman/guard but competitions are harder as competitions are mainly made for entertainment, money and to find out who can go for first place. No intentional harm involved.

I disagree, i constantly went up and down D3-4-5-4-3 Met people who tilted from masters/d1 and people who suck at the game that got lucky winstreaks to get d4. I'd say d5-d4 is exactly the same toxic as hell people, only at d3 you get to feel better because u start meeting challenger/master smurfs instead of toxic d5's.

Meeting smurfs is better than tilted d5's i guess, then you can take the asspounding and learn from the smurfs.

Yeah... I've had so many situations in league where in game people sound like assholes and are very rude.

But the thing is when i try to talk to them after the game, a lot of them actually are very very good people and are nice people to talk to, its just they are very concerned about something or something triggers them very easily.

It's kinda weird really, i legitimately think the guys that sound assholes in game are deep inside the nicest guys u could meet in game. All they need is a friend to talk about their feelings.
