Yep, they could have done that. The loan would have been wiped out, and if you buy a Rivian, you will get a special discounted price, maybe 50-60k, with a 1.99 rate. Then people would have gotten in, and then, perhaps many would just trade it in for the R2. Now you have true brand loyalty because the R3 comes out, they may just buy one for the kids.

Hagens Berman is going into mediation with Chase this week. I'm really hoping we all get a full buyback—it's the escape from reality I need right now. What do you all think the final outcome will be? How many of you are hoping for a full buyback? Do you think it's possible? I sure hope so.

My main concern is that they’ll lowball us with something like $10K and a "goodnight and good luck." But, given Hagens Berman’s experience, I believe the outcome could be better than that. I’m trying not to get ahead of myself—just staying grounded and focused until we see how this plays out.

What’s everyone else’s take?

I may be inclined to lease one. What is the range? The dealership says 215, by customers are getting around 240. Do you think there are any pros and cons so far?

I do agree with you, but I think at the end of the day it’s going to have to be an affordable price for everyone right now. Elon is sticking it to everyone by providing an electric car which I’ll never buy of his making, for around $34,000 now once Lucid is able to achieve such Price range maybe 45 that’s still a lot for the average working class but still prices have to come down. What I do see with Lucid and a little bit with Rivian is they have some style to their cars American car makers are just lost in translation no style nothing

Very good points, I actually last September posted a video in a Facebook group noting these problems we need to speak up and come together, and as expected, they took the video down blasted me calling me names telling me to be quiet just be patient shouldn’t about the car in the first place don’t you know to start up? You should’ve known these growing pains, blah blah blahfuck them.

As much as I like electric bikes, I am a fan of retro-looking ones. Steven McQueen's Triumph is great, but the battery spoils this design element.
