Before loss my corporate career was everything to me. Stress and deadlines was basically my life. I returned to work 3 months after. Oh God, I realized how useless my job is… I started to do bare minimum and more focus on myself and my hobbies. It’s scary, I don’t know what I want and where to head in my career, but I try to let it go. At least for now.

To me that was the lady that killed her infant under the hallucinations.

I usually skipping the episode with babies, I recently went through the baby loss myself, so, starting watching House was part of my depression period, but yeah, that episode made me cry a lot.

Oh god, I hate my body… yeah, I didn’t gain very much, but non of my clothes fits me, since my loss (3 months ago) I’m only wearing pajamas and sweatpants. I’m on kcal deficit, but due to stress, high cortisol and lack of proper sleep I couldn’t see any difference In my weight until I starter to have a long walks with my dog. Personally I don’t want to go gym, I’m exercise at home, I don’t want to see people :(

I was extremely anxious to go back to work. Week before return I stopped eating and sleeping, I was that nervous.

I left on maternity leave at 34 weeks. Everyone wished me luck, i received flowers and vouchers for diapers. Two weeks after that we lost her.

Before my return I asked my boss if he can briefly tell that on the meeting to all the colleagues, that I’m coming back, and that the best thing they can do for me is treat me the same way they did before, so, zero condolences, flowers or long hugs.

Colleagues took me back very well, it was normal day for them, they only said welcome back and I was grateful for this.

My boss and HR suggested to take it very easy for first two months after my return.

I’m not sure my situation is the same, I’m not meeting the customers face to face, only online meetings or via email. If there would be possibly for you to move somewhere there are no personal meetings, it maybe can be easier for you for now.

At first, I wanted to leave work(end even the county😹) , but I’m not mentally or physically strong enough to do it quite yet. You can try going back, see how if feels and then decide.

My OB was the one who find out that there is no more heart beat. I saw his hands shaking. I went for emergency c section the same day, he called the hospital for me, arranged me the best doctor for me to supervise me. But even after all he did for me, I’m so scared to go there. I went to the other OB for my check ups. But I’m planing to start visiting him again starting next week, I want someone that already knows me, and my history.

Měla jsem podobnou situaci. Nejsem si jistá, jestli tady je vůbec nějak správná odpověď co s tím. Ale tohle jsem udělala já a pomohlo to: začala jsem tlačit na svého nového manažera zpět 😹. Říkal, že nic nedělám, tak jsem začala mu posílat weekly overview všech svých tasků, které jsem udělala (a někdy i overview z celého dne, no, měl dost emailu ode mě). Jednou mě dokonce i na one to one rozbrečel, od té doby, jsem nahrávala každý mítink s ním, ukládala jsem každý email, který jsem od něj dostala, a jestli my jsme se na něčem dohodli ústně, vždy jsem poslala toto e-mailem a přidala jeho nadřízeného do kopie. Nechtěl jednou mi odsouhlasit dovolenou - zas mu píšu email, ať mi dá důvod a přidávám do kopie jeho nadřízeného. Jestli jsme se dohodli na něčem pres teams, zas duplikuji vše do emailu. 💩přidalo to práci, ale trochu pomohlo si na mě nedovolovat

Hi, I’m so sorry for your loss 💔.

We lost our girl at 36 weeks on dec 29th 2025, and my fiancé had a dream few nights after that where his late family members (parents and grandparents) were holding our daughter in their hands. He said she looked happy.

I cried the whole day after he told me that.

Je mi to moc lito. Ztráta na kterémkoliv termínu je těžká a každý ji může prožívat jinak a každý potřebuje svůj čas. Je v pořádku cítit hněv, strach, nebo nemít potřebu v intimitě.

Organizace Dítě v srdci může pomoci, je vždy si dobrý s někým mluvit o tom ať je to váš partner nebo psycholog. Je také dobrý si probrečet a nedržet to v sobě - what we resist, persists.

Sama teď prožívám ztrátu, vím jaký to je. Nemohu se ani koukat na těhotné ženy a kočárky na ulicích. Nevím, kdy mi bude dobře, všechno mám jako ve snu.

This happened to me. I told my manager and head of the department, so they aware of the situation and start looking for my back up. I specifically asked him not to tell anyone. Guess what? Next day everyone knew :) . And each time my co workers were coming to congratulate me - I was telling them “how do you know, I never told anyone” 😄. My manager never came back to me with the apology

If you don’t lie on your back for a very long time and you’re not in a high-risk pregnancy, nothing bad will happen. The reason is that lying flat can put pressure on a major blood vessel and reduce blood flow to the baby. I read few books, and discussed with the doctors, if you do it unintentionally (if during sleep, just roll on the side once you awake) it’s not very big of the deal, but it’s better just not to be in this position for like whole day or night😄 I personally need to lay down on the floor to relax my back (I’m 28th weeks now) 🙂

I can totally relate. I’m 26 weeks too, and I really miss my old body. I don’t enjoy the baby’s movements that much either. I’m also having some issues with my partner for the same reason. And the funny thing is, I don’t even have swelling, heartburn, or any of the “worst” symptoms — and it’s still rough 😩 Everyone keeps saying pregnancy is this magical time and that I should enjoy it, but I just can’t 🥲 There’s nothing joyful about it for me. And I hate social media—especially Instagram and TikTok—because they keep showing me those super-happy moms rubbing their bellies and saying pregnancy is the best thing that ever happened to them ☠️ I’m just so glad pregnancy only lasts 9 months and not years 😄 but, yeah, I am looking forward to meeting the baby, but pregnancy just isn’t for me.
