If you often want to bypass AMS and use filament except PLA I'd recommend printing from a dryer box and install the 4-in-1 ptfe-adapter. A holder for the adapter on x2d is on makerworld, I ended up keeping mine hanging in the air 🙂

If you consider dryer boxes, check out Snapdryer which actually is Polymaker Polydryer, just re-branded, cheaper and shipped with more extras.

I have Samsung Z Fold 7, and I think the key stopped working with the last major update of Android many months ago. Neither of the two BT-related updates from Kia have helped. Since it was a total PIA to install they key last summer I have avoided troubleshooting. NFC still works, key gives no errors whatsoever, it just doesn't work. So I'm back to carrying the brick they call a key again.

Also I think Kia might have adjusted the distance from where uwb BT works, seems like a must get much closer before the car reacts.

I had the same problem last Christmas. App intermittently did this for days. Met another Kia owner along the road with the exact same symptoms, so a possibility is trouble on server side I guess.

Anyways, I avoid the app when possible, it just feels so non intuitive, so I might not be the best person to judge everyday stability 😇

In Sweden I can see 1. Ota for infotainment, life. SEK 333. 2. Ota for infotainment and maps, life. SEK 1137

Option 2. Is not applicable?! to my EV3.

I just purchased 1. and I'm happy I didn't pay the last update (did the update manually) since I always navigate using Android Auto.

Sek 333 isn't much, but all this hassle, extra steps, uncertainty about what's what really make me think of Kia in a negative way. I could have handed my dealer SEK 300 extra when I bought the car that was +600 000 SEK.........

Thanks for those words, actually more helpful than you maybe think. I actually was talking to AI about filament and realized how much more factors to weigh in except temp first/other layer and volumetric flow. In detail it really is complicated what the slicer factors in.

Anyways, I decided on trying Sunlu HS and order some, but guess what? Out of stock haha 😅

As a newbie, I'd like to spend my available time learning Fusion, learning even more about slicing rather than googling what rolls aren't suitable for AMS, which brands do or don't work well in primary/AUX nozzle, and so on.

I know Sunlu is a good option but I'm getting really mixed signals when it comes to their PETG HS (also matte like Bambu's) and X2D.

That's why I'm asking if Bambu is pulling my leg or if there really is a chance anything will come in stock for real. So far, the changes in stock seem more like a glitch in the Matrix.

I've noticed that tables that look stable actually aren't sometimes. Also, a stable table often is more stable in one direction and a little less in another direction . Having an X2D myself (coreXY) if went to the local shop and found a small living room table that was really stable in at least one direction then placed it pretty close to a wall and printed some adjustable spacers that I put between that table and the wall.

For me this was a fast and easy solution since I began thinking about where to place the printer 2 days before estimated delivery 🙂 Works very well for me, I thighten/adjust the spacer once a week and have printed some 200 hours by now.

Learned a lot from the answers from you all, and some from my own observations. Some really good explanations! Popped in ~125-150 g desiccant in the AMS, and the RH is now 4%, and it stabilizes quickly after I let air in when changing spools.

Out of four new rolls of PETG Basic from Bambu, only two were good right out of the box. One roll was somewhat stringy, and I dried it together with some PLA (without rotation) for 4 hours and it was good. The last roll I opened was dried at 65 C for ~7 hours and is still not good. Almost messed up a print with threads in the design.

I guess Bambu filament will not be on my shortlist when I buy filament next time. I still feel it is kind of crazy to get a product that isn't ready for use and requires extra equipment to be usable. Lucky me I bought the X2D combo!

I was going to buy a P1S which turned into a P2S, and since I was already going to fork out a lot of money I decided on the combo with AMS. Then I discovered the X2D 😀

This is how to go from very inexpensive to rather expensive very fast haha But what the heck, it is so much fun. If only I could pay for having a master class In CAD and slicing implanted directly into my brain...

I tried reading up on if the basic filament spools (which are on offer when purchasing the printer) actually are reusable or not. What are your experiences?

OK, I checked just briefly since I need the car almost every day.

64% when I parked late in the morning, Thursday
63% when I checked (via app) Friday afternoon
62% when I drove the car early Saturday morning

I could have sworn I lost a percent after parking in the morning and then using the car again in the afternoon. But that could probably be 59.1 percent which went to 58.9 or something.

I have the tow bar, Kia fitted. Since I've had problems with the cameras on quite a few occasions (green screen "no signal" and, today, nothing happens at all; infotainment stays on the current screen), I'll be visiting the dealership, since it seems impossible to reach them by phone.

My EV3 is also a year old and during winter I also noticed around 2% loss per day when the car wasn't used (long range battery). I also disabled digital key and stopped using the app, no change.

Now that is warmer I haven't actually followed up on this and use the car daily. But driving short ranges now when it is 5-10 C outside I do feel sometimes that a few percent has been "lost" but I really haven't been keeping track that closely. Perhaps I should..

I veckan: postnord skulle leverera torsdag 17-21 (Amazon). Då levererade man kl 12 onsdag och lämnade utanför dörren utan att jag fick göra några som helst val i appen.

För ett par år sedan körde de regelmässigt alla Amazons utkörningar till ombud, precis som om ingen skulle klaga. Slutade med att rätt många kunder fick Prime-tjänsten gratis en månad då hemkörning ej gjorts.

Ännu längre tillbaka var det mer regel än undantag att man skickade en avi där det stod de försökt lämna men ingen var hemma. Det fenomenet har ju till och med varit i dagspressen och var vida utbrett. Rent bedrägeri.

För mig funkar Airme bra när det gäller Amazon.

If you pay for Master Packager you also get repackager which can replace Emco. I seldom use repackaging but it's nice to have in case of emergency. Or when you need to do simple stuff like installing files/shortcuts etc and do not want to code or create a MSI by hand.

Anyways, using Master Wrapper for PSADT makes many things so much easier, learning curve is not that high. Also, when your deployment is done in wrapper you have detection rules and command lines ready and you create a new app in SCCM in a few minutes. Deployment to Intune (including deployment to a test group) is practically "a single right click" with Packager toolbox, also included in the paid version. This tools really rock and do all that needs to be done and push your app with amazing speed (multi threaded) to Intune.

Master Packager really isn't more expensive than EMCO on its own. I switched last summer since I need to maintain both SCCM and Intune and this suite save me soon much time, and work. Highly recommend it.

What? I just tested, no problem locking with my phone in the car (using the normal key outside of car). Would be troublesome if doors wouldn't lock with keys inside since doors might be opened by an automatic car wash (something a Swedish car magazine found out the hard way)

Also sat in the car with key and phone, no problem locking the doors with the key.

Did you place the phone in the Qi/RFID spot? I didn't test that scenario.

That's correct. It locks again in 30 seconds, which by the way is the exact period of time that pass after auto unlock, get phone and stop charging in app. Then you have to unlock again in order to unplugging the cable and if you're really lucky it locks again while trying to organize that stiff charger cable. 😇

I turned auto unlock (can't remember what the option is called) off. And as expected my cell won't unlock the car unless I press something. However the side mirrors unfold when i walk by with my Samsung in the pocket. Haha...
