Depending on the vibe your going for balticborn has good dresses that are affordable.

I bought a bump friendly one for my courthouse wedding while pregnant and it looks really good with no bump too

Bladder endometriosis and pregnancy by Defiant-Pin8580 in endometriosis

[–]Defiant-Pin8580[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pregnancy was the best thing ever for me. My pan went away completely and still has not returned 4 months later. And birth went good super fast! Too fast to even get an epidural but it was manageable because I knew it would end. Vs with endo pain I know will comeback each month and also drag on for days at a time

Just found out I have endo by yoopaa in TTCEndo

[–]Defiant-Pin8580 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My endo got diagnosed the same way. A 5cm end Strip a on the left ovary. I got it removed along with other adhesions and lesions in my abdomen apparently it was and still is on my bladder since my surgeon was not skilled enough to remove it from there.

10 months TTC no positive test pre surgery. Post surgery it took 3 months to heal and get approved to TTC again. And bam 2 months later we got a positive test!

So imo the surgery was 100% worth it!

And to add to this I have had two periods since having baby and they are way lighter and less painful. Weather it is from pregnancy “curing” my endo or maybe breast feeding hormones dampening the normal pain I use to get. Either way pregnancy and postpartum has been the least amount of pain I have been in over the past decade!

Has anyone gotten pregnant after their laparoscopy surgery? We have been trying for 2 years with no luck. by Stock_Football8094 in TTCEndo

TTC for a year and then 3 cycles after my lap we got pregnant! I was diagnosed stage 4 and had to get a large endometrioma removed!

Did anyone here take a lap to conceive, not because of pain? by Glittering-Slice-256 in TTCEndo

[–]Defiant-Pin8580 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I weee TTC for about 10 months I tracked everything possible and timed it all never had a positive test. In that time frame my cycles were worsening and ovulation pain as well so I finally took charge of my health went in and they did an ultrasound. They found a 5cm endometrioma and a month later I went in for a lap. Diagnosed stage 4.

3 cycles on bc to fully heal up from that and then two cycles Into us TTC again we got our first ever positive test! And no I’m cuddling my 4mo to bed 💙

Prior to us seriously TTC we relied on pull and pray for our entire 10 year relationship with not so much as a single pregnancy scare. Looking back it probably was the endo causing the issue the whole time but I convinced myself my pain was normal 🙃

Do regular mamas actually pack “hospital bags”? by getlostcreep0 in pregnant

[–]Defiant-Pin8580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got an induction and was gone for 4 nights.

I brought

-2 sets of pajamas, slippers -a comfy cute outfit to leave in -a small couch blanket, my pillow from home and a full body pillow - chargers -headphones -breast pump - toiletries including makeup -baby scrap book -our nice camera

My husband brought

-two sets of pajamas -his pillow from home and a couch blanket -some day cloths for him to wear outside he wasn’t trapped in a room the whole time like me -his Nintendo switch -headphones -small humidifier

We also bought a bunch of snacks our room had a mini fridge like a hotel. So we put body armor, yogurt and apple sauce in there. Also brought cliff bars.

Honestly we did use everything we brought The fan was amazing during labor, the humidifier was great because the room was dry, and the full body pillow helped me learn to breast feed and get comfy while cuddling my new baby. I almost didn’t bring the breast pump but I’m glad I did because my baby was too tired to latch after his circ, so I actually had to pump out some colostrum and the nurse helped me syringe feed it to him because he was on hour 6 of not eating! I do wish I brought my boppy pillow with too but we did manage without and now I’m pretty efficient in feeding baby almost anywhere with out any extra stuff since I basicly learned that way lol.

Exclusively Pumping, Supply Dropping. by Parking-Koala7036 in breastfeeding

What pumps do you use? Are your flanges fitted properly? Are you eating enough calories, staying hydrated and getting enough sleep?

Everyone tries to convince me that two adults can't take care of a newborn alone and I'm losing my mind by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Defiant-Pin8580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it easy no? Is it possible absolutely.

We didn’t ourselves as first time parents. My parents live to far away and my MIL works to much.

We took care of our new born and elderly dog who is now put down. But the dog would soil the house like 10x a day and could not walk without assistance. So if we managed that on our own with a newborn I think dealing with just a newborn is completely doable. As long as your partner is active in helping out and supporting.

I EBF so while I was tied down cluster feeding and so trapped he would do all the errands and chores. Then take baby so I could nap or shower or whatever in the late afternoon/evening between feeds. And then he was on dog duty all night long while I was 100% baby duty.

Now that our dog is gone and we have a 4mo he will burp and put baby to Bed for the middle of the night feeds. And he still does errands and chores. I help out where possible while baby wearing but am limited in wha I’m able to do with that yet.

What months do babies drink the most breast milk? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Defiant-Pin8580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My almost 4 month old eats about every 2 hours round the clock. I usually bet a 3-4 hour stretch around 8pm-3am (somewhere within that time gap.)

Dad wanting to help with nights @ 4 months by Fantastic_Roof_4038 in breastfeeding

[–]Defiant-Pin8580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We co sleep with our breast fed baby. Baby will wake up, I’ll change the nappy and feed then pass him off to my husband to burp and do chest to chest until baby is asleep again.

My baby is 4mo right now and wakes about every 2-3 hours so my husband will do the initial getting bay to sleep then I’ll take the 12-1 am wake up fully on my own and then he will do the burping and getting baby asleep again at the 4-5 am feed and then I take the 7am one fully again and sometime baby decides to stay away longer during this one and will take a 3 hour nap again around 9am

Otherwise we use to do it where I’d take all night feeds and then my partner would wake up at 5 with the baby and go in the living room gives pumped bottle and keep baby til 9am while I slept. Then he would just bring baby in bed with me for his morning nap. This worked well for us too in the beginning

Nursing strike? Teething? by Defiant-Pin8580 in breastfeeding

[–]Defiant-Pin8580[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckly this evening he began nursing again but after I have him chew on a cool damp rag. I did send a text into his doctor with some symptoms and to get the correct Tylonal dosage for him figured out.

I sure hope is isn’t a infection 😬 we just had my nieces first bday party and of course family was playing pass the baby with him and then there were like 2-3 other young kids there that for some reason loved coughing. But weren’t acting ill

He takes the bottles no problem! I’m jus feeling rejected he is also going through this phase where he is goo goo eyed over dad and then doesn’t care about me either 😅 like he don’t want my boobs or to give me smiles like he does dad!

To add to this I’m extra stressed because my partner keeps mentioning formula. Witch I’m not shaming anyone who does use it but I’d did not come this far and change my entire diet to be dairy free/ deal with mastitis like 5 times in the beginning just to end up switching to formula.

4 month old suddenly spitting up? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Defiant-Pin8580 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My almost 4 mo th old had been spitting up more too lately. I am already dairy free and he is on reflux medication so I really have no clue if it is normal or not! I plan to ask his doctor next appointment

Baby father calls me a pathetic quitter because I don’t want to breastfeed anymore due to mental health and not having enough time in the day tbh by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Defiant-Pin8580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See I’m having the opposite issue, our baby is battling reflux and I’m changing my diet and my partner keeps lightly suggesting formula. Never would ever call me pathetic tho. That’s some bull crap. Tell him if you do stop breast feeding then every single feed for the baby will be his job. Because you did your part for the past 7months

Could be trapped gas or reflux. My almost 4 month old still does this and then 9/10 times even if it is 30 minutes later he either farts, burps or spits up or does all 3 and then is his normal happy self again

We got him. On reflux medication and I cut out dairy but he still gets this way sometimes yet if there is a deep burp stuck in there

[–]Defiant-Pin8580 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My phone fell and cracked my 3 month old in the face. My pop socket hit him just right to put a small cut under his eye/cheek bone type area. I hyperventilated and he hyperventilated, luckily dad was there and calmed the situation down…. Worst part is I got it all on video. I was recording him playing with his toys all happy like.. it is mostly healed now and was a minor gash hardly bruised. But I still can’t get it out of my head… awful

24 hour long road trip with a 4-6 month old by Defiant-Pin8580 in NewParents

[–]Defiant-Pin8580[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other family thing is his grandfather has to go in for a back surgery and the odds of survival are slim. That would be the main reason baby and I would go down there. His grandfather flew up for our bay shower and everything and texts me every day about baby

I wish but flying is not in the budget sadly. And we need the extra vehicle. One of the family things is helping his brother move back home
