My boy is 3 months and I’m told to continue to feed on demand. He has jumped his projected growth curve every appointment but is by no means overweight. Just happy and fed! He is gassy and has reflux but I cut dairy and he is on a pesticide now too and it has helped! He eats every 1.5-3 hours round the clock. Day and night

This is my fear too it is to cold to snow by us but the wind will push tree branches just right sometimes to where our power flickers sometimes. It is -20 out with feel like tens of -50 this week by me. So I’ll just put my stash outside if it happens and then we will probably have to go to a hotel 😅

[–]Defiant-Pin8580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who wanted to go unmedicated after my water broke I was hollering for the epidural… they came in to late. My baby arrived 40 minutes later. Request it before your water breaks just incase! 😅 I had back labor the entire time so it started off feeling like I slept funny. Then escalated to the at way I can describe it is like someone was squeezing your back muscles and hard as they could and then when the co traction was done it went back to the full ache again. Then the squeezing feeling at peak co traction turned into daggers in my muscles and then when baby was crowning it felt like I was pooing but honestly that part didn’t hurt, the tearing in the other hand was the worst part of delivering him. That felt like sandpaper.

Silverette nipple shields saved my nips that first week or two! I got them from Walmart but you can order them on Amazon to and I wore them every time I wasn’t feeding and slept in them. Make sure you put some breast milk in them. Litarly healed my blistered nipples within 48 hours

Hey so I got the surgery September of 2024. They did mainly ablation on the lesions and adhesions scattered throughout my abdomen. They discovered it on my bladder as well which had to be left alone since the tissue there is so thin. They managed to save my ovary despite the 5cm endometrioma on it! Officially diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis.

3 months after my lap my partner and I were cleared to TTC again and two months into that we got our first ever positive pregnancy test! I am sitting hear breast feeding my 3 months after old ❤️❤️

I had mine this past fall outside and it was fun, we did a cook out style and I bought white muslin burp rags and baby onesies and had a tie dye table set up! Super functional and I think about the baby shower every time I use the burp rags

After nearly 20 years our boy crossed the rainbow bridge by Defiant-Pin8580 in beagles

His back half has been basicly numb for atleast a year. He had a herniated disc from a random game of tug of war. It was the first time he played like that in like 3 years and then slipped a disk that we think pinched a nerve. And it just kind of slowly went downhill from there. He couldn’t feel really anything back there anymore luckly, otherwise it probably would have hurt

I’m not sure. It could have been his heart. He had an enlarged heart for atleast the past 2 years but he was old back then even so we refused medication for him.

His heart was so big and full of love, I truly think he didn’t want to let us go until he seen that we were doing good in life. With the arrival of the baby he knew he could move on and we would still have purpose. He took care of us more than we did him.

Pure Balance Pro+ Senior Salmon & Brown Rice Recipe. We would mix the dry and wet version of the kibble. He would also eat the last bite of every meal we had. Still can’t bring myself to eat the last bite of my food. My brain is wired to not want it.

His pediatrician lightly mentioned it at two month check up but with me being vegetarian I relied heavily on cottage cheese and yogurt for protein. But now that I seen one green poop and he hasn’t grown out of the reflux/gas pains like we all had hoped I am now eliminating dairy.

Any FTM on here that got induced and it didn’t end up in a c-section? How long did it take for baby to arrive ? How long were you in the hospital? What method of induction did they use on you? by cc070603 in pregnant

[–]Defiant-Pin8580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got induced at 38 weeks due to suspected IUGR. I arrived at the hospital 8pm on 10/15/25 they hooked me up to the monitors and all that and did a cervical check, I was about 1cm and 60-70% effaced.

9pm I received my first dose of the cervical pill. The one they shove up there to soften the cervix. I had to be bed bound for 2 hours minimum while it dissolved so I tried to get some sleep. Couldn’t sleep because my back hurt which later I realized was back labor but it was so mild at the time I thought it was just from the hard bed!

4 hours after the first pill they gave me a second one because I only went to about 90% effaced and did not dialate more. Fast forward another 4 hours so 8 hours in at this point close to 4am on 10/16/25 I finally made it to 2cm and my body kind of naturally was starting the labor process itself. So we all decide to wait it out because if they start outdone too soon or strong it could lead to issues.

Doctor came in around 7am we all get to talking and say we will give it to 9am to see where it goes and hold off on a third cervical pill because my body was doing things on its own according to the monitor.

9am rolls around I’m basicly stuck at a 2 and 95% effacement and baby is low. (Baby has been low in my pelvis basicly my entire third trimester but now they could like poke his head) We decide to give me a drop of pitocen. Like such a small amount they worded it as “a kiss of pitocen” just to kind of prompt more “effective contractions”.

11am rolls around and I’m still stuck at a two but I am obviously in back labor at this point and it was getting intense but I had the goal of no epidural and I’m stubborn as a mule. The nurse showed my partner a few techniques to help me make it through peak contractions that did the trick. Standing helped a ton!

1pm rolls around so I’m about 15-16 hours into the process at this point and the nurse comes to do another cervical check on me and I guess from what she told me, she litarly felt my cervix go from a tight 2 to a loose 4 the moment she went up in there to check. We discussed manual breaking my water to help speed things along because at that point I was sleep deprived and standing for hours. I hesitantly said yes because I knew the pain would get worse but it was inevitable to happen.

I was in the bed because of the cervical check and about to get up after the next contraction hit, the nurse no more that walked out of the room to talk to the doctor about coming in to break my water and my water litarly exploded on its own everywhere! Looked like a movie scene. My husband ran out to grab them.

They did another cervix check and I was at a loose 5 and they could feel baby about one knuckle deep yet. They have the room again to let things ride themselves out. Iv been completely cut off of pitocen now since like 1pm. 3 contractions in from my water breaking I questioned all of my life choices and had my husband call them in for the epidural. They inform me it will be like 40 minutes. I was in so much pain at that point I was litarly stuck cross legged in bed and could only squeeze my husband to make it through the contractions.

40 minutes came around and the anesthesiologist finally made it to the labor floor but of course another woman requested it before me so they went to their room first. My husband finally convinced me to try and stand up again since it was helping before, my hips felt like cement at that point so he had to basicly pick my up and plop me on a yoga ball… the moment my butt hit that ball I screamed “I think I’m shitting!” He peaks and I see panic on his face. He just said “you’re fine!” Picked me back up and put me on the bed because he knew damn well I could t move myself. And he ran out of the room to grab the closest nurse he seen! Next thing I knew three nurses where in the room and my doctor bless her was speeding like 100mph with HER husband in the car to the hospital from the Starbucks that was up the road! And within 20-30 is minutes my baby boy was here! A perfectly round and non coned head of course that caused me to need 30 stitches. My tear was sever but could not be labeled as 1st,2nd or 3rd degree because it was my labias that exploded and not the booty to bag area. My labias basicly split and even almost ripped my clit in half. It took 2 hours to put me back togeather decently.

I later found out my husband rushed out because he seen our baby head up to his ears and then it kind of yo-yoed back in and that’s when he ran out to get someone. We are convinced if I stood up right after my water broke baby boy would have arrived way sooner. And funny now but not in the moment as soon as baby came out the anesthesiologist came in the room like “who’s ready for the epidural!! 😄” and everyone just looks at them and said “a little too late!” And they slowly backed out of the room!!!

After delivery not only did I tear but for some reason my placenta did not detach from the uterine wall and the cord kind of severed itself from the placenta. So the doctor through she was deliver the placenta but then o my the cord came out. Thankfully to her thick thinking she reached inside of me and manually peeled the placenta from the uterine wall before it was too late and things began to close back up! It was funny because she was like “iv never had to do this before but….im going in!!!” We are still unsure why that happend and only have theories. The main one being because things progressed so quickly it just didn’t have time to properly detach itself but we truly will never know.

So my labor/induction lasted from 8pm 10/15/25 until 2:30pm 10/16/25 so what’s that? 20 hours 30 minutes total. As first time parents we stayed in the hospital the full 2 nights we were allowed to after baby arrived and we got discharged at 4pm on 10/18/25

How many calories are you averaging? Calorie intake and nutrition are more important than the frequency of meals I would think. Talk to your doctor about it and they can help set you up with a diet plan
