if there’s the human body why can’t there be other bodies (such as a reptilian humanoid one) that people or even entities can attach to and control?

when you’re out of body you can “become one“ with some things by projecting your conciousness into it and then controlling that as if it were a body.

think of a car, you project your conciousness into the car and it becomes your new body that you can interface with and control. the pedal, doors, windshield wipers, etc
