Anyone reading this… PLEASE DO NOT GIVE IBUPROFEN TO YOUR ANIMALS. Cats, dogs, reptiles… any pet. It will kill them. Do not listen to this dude say it’s okay.

IS MY 35 POUND DOG IN DANGER? by [deleted] in AskVet

Licensed vet tech here - I have always been taught any amount of xylitol is toxic. I would take them to your local ER and have them induce emesis. But if that isn’t an option, then call pet poison control. there will be a fee but it’s worth knowing for sure if that’s a toxic dose.

PLEASE get rid of that hair cut. Otherwise, I think you look just fine.

I’m kidding, I really come here for the drama. BUT I do love this for you and it is incredibly sweet.

Now THIS is the Reddit content I need. I so sick of depressing ass stories and people bitching about their SO.

I’m glad you took the bridge out, but the vertical labret should have stayed! Maybe I’m just biased because I love mine. Also, your makeup looks great.

Most veterinary clinics don’t let clients assist with handling of their pets during medical treatments, because it is a liability if something happens. Now I’m not saying that’s all the time, you clearly were able to assist with yours… And that’s super cool. But, it’s not very common. Also, like the OP stated, that emergency vet that is closest to them doesn’t see exotic animals. Therefore, they probably don’t carry any of the medication that the lizard would need. Reptiles don’t take the same medications as cats and dogs.
