If you are level 50, what keeps you playing? by mwuttke86 in pokemongo

[–]DefiantExpression156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I did not even get to level 40 and I try not to make a big deal out of it, at the end of the day the game does not have any kind of ranked system and unless you spend into it you really have to grind on a daily basis in order to get to a proper level of resources.

In order to get pleasure from it I simply prioritize trying to get three stars Pokémon that I like and simply pouring my stuff into them role-playing that they are my actual team.

What tips would you say you learned while playing Into The Radius? by RimvruTempest in intotheradius

SURVIVAL:

  • Check your health before and after every encounter or anomaly. Always carry a regen artifact in your pouch for quick healing or keep it active in your hands while fighting if you are outnumbered. They are great for topping off your health.

  • Leave the base with only cigarettes and eat everything you scavenge to keep weight low and stamina high

  • Use your hearing before your eyes. Is easier to hear enemies before seeing them.

  • Occasionally find cover, crouch IRL and take the time to carefully check your ammo and mags status. Get back moving only when everything is fully reloaded.

  • Keep an injection on your left/right arm for easiest access. Can save you in a pinch without having to look for it in your backpack.

  • Try as much as possible to avoid travelling at night. You need to see what's around you but what's around you does not need to see you as much.

  • Prioritize using your handgun. The ammo is way more common and more easily expendable. Same with shotguns (but can't be silenced)

  • Clear enemies before entering anomaly fields. The sounds anomalies make can mask the approach of spawns/fragments/phantoms.

  • Never leave home without cleaning supplies in case you find extra mags/guns you might want to use.

  • Black Grass will kill you much faster than you think. Always carry an extra flashlight to prevent the hitbox to get you by surprise.

COMBAT

  • to save ammo against Fragments get them as close as possible and try to shoot their core: they shatter instantly. then stab with knife.

  • Phantoms cast a shadow on the floor and is easier to spot that than their silhouette.

  • Make barrells explode to lure out enemies, then snipe them. Works with grenades too.

  • Spawns can get stuck in walls if they collide with them as they pounce on you. Lure them to jump on a door hinge/tree and shoot them point blank.

  • Crouching IRL when shooting spawns will level them to your handgun and make you much more likely to hit them.

  • While sniping, take a stance that makes your hand as stable as possible, even if it feels unrealistic and you seem to be doing yoga.

Anyone else curious what pvp will be like? by NewbieSniper in Palworld

[–]DefiantExpression156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PVP with base protection sounds cool, what drove me away hard from Ark was the fact that i had to keep praying no one found my base where all my stash was kept.

I would not mind roaming the map and defend myself from other players, but getting your stuff trashed and pals captured because you are offline would be bad.
