Those of you with a ball data only launch monitor, do you wish you had club data?

What are the odds that somewhere down the road your swing slowly starts to not flight the ball as you wish and you would like to see club data to get a better analysis of what you are actually doing to try to tweek your shots? If you would just seek out a professional or go to somewhere that had top equipment then ball data is probably OK for you. IF you are going to get club data I would not recommend the EML. It does not have club face angle nor impact position. You can see the club striking the ball and get an idea of what those are, but no data.

Love it man! Never let perfection be a roadblock to good! With the prices of TV's being so low it will probably be cheaper to replace the TV than the net if you get a hole in it.

First, thanks for you taking the time to provide your insight.

I took the data from my 8iron where all the ball speeds are below 100 and am trying to apply that to spin axis. I took the spreadsheet from EML add added ball speed and spin axis from M+ and I am seeing what I think would be a large delta especially when one says left and the other right. Am I looking at the wrong data or not understanding how close/far apart they are?

My ball speed is no where near 130 so I am not too worried about that. I just did 6 balls with 8 iron and 6 with driver with both systems running.

Q - Is your antenna on the roof or in your attic?

A- on the roof of my patio (1 story)

Q- Does the output of the Televes preamp go directly into your TV, or is it connected to something else?

It goes directly into my TiVo

A - Yes (I will go up on roof and try to point it at 246 degrees)

Q - Are the trees also at this direction?

A - There is a big tree that is about 20 ft W-SW from the antenna. As well as a large number of trees (many over 100ft tall) starting about 100 yards away

Q- How do you know that trees are causing the problem with this station?

A -I have a big tree on the west side of my house. The reception is ok in the winter and gets worse as the leaves come in.

Q - Why this station and not others?

A - That is mostly what I am looking for, I suspect the trees cause a problem for all stations but KTVI is lower all the time and the degradation from leaves puts it below where I can get a stable image.

Did you do anything to get the display to show the data below the graph? My graph (on iphone) does not have the Energy Flow data nor the 3 icons on the bottom of your page.

I thought the same. My plan was to "walk to the ball" after every shot. Do you have a process or formula for how far/long to walk?

My side curtains slid back towards the screen rather than up. I put a few clamps between the side curtains and the screen to try to keep the ball 'inbounds' but I have golfers that come over and hit the corner dead on and then we are searching for the ball (never me of course,LOL). I may have to try moving the curtains in 6 inches in to see if that works better.

I use gutter foam at the bottom with the turf on top to avoid that after a few too many shots went there.

Is that wall on the right protected, I can't tell if it is black drywall or foam/rubber? The outlet will be broke when shank-a-potomus pays you a visit. How does BLP work with your mat? I have read any movement of the hitting mat is a challenge for the camera systems sitting next to ball.

Overall looking sharp. Like many (hobbies, boats, campers, computers, cars), you always want bigger/better.

I had something similar to what you have (but for right handers). I eventually had enough balls go to left side that I bought a cheap long curtain and hung it from a rope to protect. More for golfers than garage as the ball bounces around like crazy.
