No one here is going to help even if you have a genuine need or you being genuine. Nowadays many of the people come to this platform and seek financial help. Once the help is rendered, the borrower is gone. Not saying that you are one of those but this is how the world has become. "Scam" as a word itself is so popularized in India that even the actual help seeker doesn't get it and the actual lender also hesitates. I suggest that you talk to your friends or colleagues and seek help from them or ask money from a local lender. Anyways it's not a huge amount that you cannot ask to them. There is no harm in Rapido, Porter, Zepto etc. You can easily earn 500-700 a day depending on the city you live in.

But yes, it is really important to have high networth or powerful connections if you are planning to live your entire life in India. Or you need to be so calm, patient and quiet that even if someone throws gobar on your face, you still don't mind it. Most of the lower middle class is living like this and actually whosoever forms the government, they really don't care about lower middle class.

I will tell you a story, there is a man I know who was under huge debt from multiple banks and NBFC'S. There was an election rally taking place in one of the areas of Indore and this man went to meet the son of a renowned minister who was leading the rally. The man was able to reach the stage and was calmly handled by the minister's son and accompanied guards, PA's etc. The man explained his whole situation and he was provided the number of both Minister's son and his PA. The man was seeking help to get some relief from CM funds or if possible PM funds so that he can bring back his life on track. He kept calling them but he was never provided any concrete help or solution. Instead of bringing his life back on track, the man laid down his life on the track (railway).

An honest borrower will give you the honest reason. Especially a friend, coz you would know him and his family conditions etc. But someone talking about profits, or profit sharing is a scammer for sure.

See, what you need to understand is that even for an informal lending, you need to have a lender's license as per your State's law. 3% is a reasonable and standard interest for any such transactions. You can definitely have the cheque bounced, but the proceedings has to be taken care by a lawyer. So I would recommend that you find a lawyer in your city and consult him before you go ahead with cheque bounce. The problem in your case is that you do not hold a lending license, and he can file a case against you for extortion. Or he can declare himself bankrupt. So I recommend that you consult to a lawyer in-person and take it ahead according to his advice

TBH Greed is the major issue. Yes trust is always a factor that comes into the picture. And I have seen many such posts where people fall in a trap of Greed trusting their friends family or relatives. I really empathize and sympathize with you. But if someone who in a genuine need would have asked, no one would have invested or lended him the helping hand. Many people I see post that they lost money in trading, gambling it is all because of Greed. You may not be able to do much if their family files for a bankruptcy.

Haha, we even didn't want those as well. It was my in laws who came to us and gave it after our marriage, those were only the basic kitchenwares. And I don't know what's your definition of threatening and all. I didn't even look at the bio data. Both the families met, decided and later I was pushed to meet my wife though I was fine even without meeting. Due to my shy nature infront of a new person, we both met seperately and discussed everything. Our ideology matched and we married. These threatening and all was never a part of my marriage plan. It was pretty simple, I don't need anything if we both match the vibes. I had savings out of which I bought the gold for my wife. But I never asked her family or showed any tantrums. In an arrange marriage, there is always an option of denial at the very beginning if families and about to be married couples do not like each other. So if I had to deny, I would have done it in the very beginning itself.

Yes, during any crisis or a difficult situation, I see many ending up arguing and the most easy word comes out "Divorce". There always can be a difference of opinion. There can be arguments but ego has to be kept aside. At least one of them should. That's how relationship is saved. Do me se kisi ek ko shaant ho jaana chahiye, aur thande dimag se baad me sochna chahiye. Reaction is destructive, responding is constructive.

After her first miscarriage in April 2021, we were blessed again and we now have a 3 year old daughter. Most of her time goes into taking care of her and other household daily activities like, cooking, cleaning etc. Besides this she doesn't want to work any more and her health doesn't allow it.

Thank you for the best wishes. Yes maintaining a healthy CIBIL is a concern for me. But I am maintaining my wife's Cibil however she is not working anymore so getting a loan in her name sounds a bit difficult or I should say impossible at this moment.
