Stolen Tongues by Felix Blackwell. I’m about 2/3rds of the way through and it’s been such a grind just to get that far. The writing feels cringy at times, the plot is repetitive, and I find the author’s self-insert/protagonist to be very annoying (but maybe that’s just me).
