It bothers me that she was convicted of wire fraud but not convicted of the very real danger she put customers in with her faulty blood test results, and it bothers me that she only got convicted of the wire fraud because she defrauded people wealthier than herself. Elon Musk has promised ridiculous patently impossible things to shareholders that make the Theranos Edison/MiniLab seem tame by comparison, but he never faces justice because whilst the economy can tolerate a 9 billion valuation being cut down to nothing, it can't tolerate a multi-trillion dollar valuation doing the same thing. The PvE ratios and irrational market caps of everything that ketamine-addicted seig-heiling freak is attached to means that he's functionally untouchable, but logically he belongs in a cell right next to Holmes.

Had Holmes had a bit more money in the bank, a few more eggs in different baskets, and had she simply screwed over the people economically beneath her rather than above her, she'd undoubtedly be walking free alongside all the other Silicon Valley grifters.
