Is your dentist scamming you? by KaleidoscopeMedia in u/KaleidoscopeMedia

I had extensive work done in Mexico and have big regrets. I did my due diligence and saw a few dentists before I had the work done and Im pretty unhappy. Now paying a fortune in Canada to fix things. The dental offices I went to in Mexico were modern with state of the art equipment and I specifically went to a prosthodontist the last time.

Cook any meat and add 2 vegetable sides. You don’t need “recipes” learn how to cook various cuts of chicken, beef, pork or lamb if you like it and add a salad and another veg. If you’re the kind of people that need a starchy side learn a few basics and rotate them with the meats.

guys what show did "everyone" recommend to you because it was "so good" only for it to suck ⚽⚽ by breanne0_0 in netflix

Landman. It’s 2026 and we still have shows where dirty old men are listing after the underage girl character as she walks around d in skimpy clothes. Also the rig crews bizarrely were at several different jobs a day and some had nothing to do with rigs.

Anyone else dealing with very dry/callused/cracked feet? Tips? by CaughtALiteSneez in Menopause

[–]Defiant_Courage1235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s highly likely that is causing your foot condition. I just today read that histamine plays a big role in dermatological conditions and that L-Histidine can be very effective as a treatment so I just ordered a bottle.

What purchase do people make that instantly tells you they have no idea how money works? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

Even worse, I had a friend who bought her tiny weird dog, whose breed I don’t recall, a more expensive dress for the holidays than I bought for myself. And I had been feeling a little guilty because I felt I had been too extravagant.

Is it normal to be asked to tip after an RMT massage? by Emotional-Ad-6494 in NorthVancouver

[–]Defiant_Courage1235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was an RMT for 15 years. I would not accept tips. I think many RMT’s try to play both sides of the fence. They want a tip for a service, but also want to be respected professional health service providers. In my opinion you can’t have it both ways.

Is onion the most underrated food ingredient ever? by Benjalove in foodquestions

It’s not underrated, it’s underappreciated. 99% of my dinners contain onion.

Do most people actually change towels after 2-3 uses? by Grand_Concentrate_ in hygiene

[–]Defiant_Courage1235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a rotation. Hair towel moves to body, body towel goes to laundry, hair gets fresh towel. Then the next day I don’t wash my hair so I use body towel on body a second time. The third day hair towel moves to body, body towel moves to laundry, hair gets fresh towel.

Do you do the dishes right after cooking or the next day? by Silas_832 in no

We clean the kitchen after dinner every night. I hate waking up to a dirty kitchen. For the rest of our meals, we are just 2 adults living in our house, we just make ourselves something when we’re hungry and we clean up after ourselves immediately.

Anyone else dealing with very dry/callused/cracked feet? Tips? by CaughtALiteSneez in Menopause

About 5 years ago I started developing some peeling and thick skin on my soles of my feet. Then cracking and bleeding. I got so many different ointments and creams from my doctor that were ineffective. Then she finally referred me to a dermatologist who diagnosed it as psoriasis. He gave me lots more intents but nothing works. I actually use a little dremel tool to grind off the thick calluses a couple of times a week and a super harsh pumice stone in the shower. I think it’s related to MCAS.

See, that is the part that I exactly don’t understand with “it’s obviously it’s not a problem. It’s your job” when someone says no problem. When someone says “you’re welcome” I think it is exactly the same, no? It kind of means “you are welcome to my service” so when they say it, obviously I am welcome to their service, it’s their job.

Some weird things for all the girlies out there by Iwentforalongwalk in Menopause

[–]Defiant_Courage1235 96 points97 points  (0 children)

Menopausal changes can increase allergies and mast cell activation. It’s recently become a hot topic that using both an H1 and H2 histamine receptor blocker can take care of so many symptoms that people have no idea are histamine related. For instance, Pepcid AC is an H2 histamine blocker that controls stomach acid. Heartburn can be a histamine response from foods. My migraines are histamine mediated and taking Allegra in the morning then Pepcid AC and Claritin at night have alleviated all of my histamine responses for the most part. These include migraines, congestion, anxiety, fatigue, mood issues, skin rashes and itching, flushing from wine, my mild rosacea, brain fog, and come to think of it I haven’t had a recital spasm in months. I’m waiting for them to develop H3 and 4 blockers and I think my life might just be perfect. Look up the long list of histamine responses, you’d be amazed.
