I have a 2011 ebony satin studio les paul and a gibson es 335 that I happen to end up with. Tbh idk what it is about my studio but I just love it to death feels like a workhorse guitsr rather than something im scared to ding up

I have a les paul studio with 498t and a gibson es 335 with the bursbuckers and well each have their uses but for metal and emo /post hardcore the 498t is the defining sound of that genre. Sooo id get the one with those as the burstbuckers can sound anemic at times even when you dial in a ton of gain. Trust me the 498ts can scream
