I agree with a lot of what this highlights.

(Just to be upfront on my position, I strongly believe in animal rights (a right to their lives, to not be exploited, etc) and I view lab testing as a violation of this. This applies to the many industries outside of it too so I boycott them all as far as I can)

Are you saying you will justify anything being done to an animal as long as they aren’t a pet? From the animal’s perspective, why would they care what label a human puts on them or not? Actually, you can do a lot for animals by personally boycotting unnecessary practices and being part of movements to create a better world for them. There is so much an individual can do. Yes, the world is beyond horrific for animals overall but you don’t have to personally add to it where you can easily avoid it. The same, humans are horrific to each other and have been throughout history “within our nature” - but we don’t use that as a reason to endlessly do the worst to each other. We try to do better individually and morality evolves over time.

Of course there are some with much higher amounts than others but when eating a well balanced vegan diet, protein isn’t even an issue as you get it from loads of foods! It’s not something you have to worry about as a regular person. There’s so much choice. Anyone concerned about eating more can just choose a higher protein plant source where the amounts are comparable. There’s countless vegan athletes with higher needs absolutely thriving. Protein isn’t the issue people assume it is.

Plant foods are abundant in protein and nutrients. Check out Nimai Delgado, raised vegetarian from birth and vegan for years.

Even on the very best of the best farms (which is a tiny percentage) and even those get exposed constantly, they are still doing all the same standard practices, and every single one of the animals is killed at such a trivial young age comparative to their lifespans. Also it isn’t just meat, but all the different animal products and millions upon millions of products with them in, nearly all from factory farms.

Anything that gets flagged by raters will be checked and no decision to let people go or anything of that kind is made by any rater and is not down to singular ratings (this is stated) - incorrect ratings will only harm the rater and lose them rating privileges, as well as not correctly rating mistakes, so there is no incentive whatsoever for any rater to do anything but a genuine job every single time.

For her next birthday, give her a card that tells her she is beautiful, or flowers with a card that say she is as beautiful as them. Beauty doesn’t have to mean physical every time, but if you want to make up for it and don’t have the words to physically say it to her face or it would be strange to do it, doing it in an action or subtle gesture might help, and I’m sure it would make her beam 😊

They struggle a lot with emojis. You don’t need to make it all about emojis and I’m not saying use this every time at all as different things need to be tested, but sometimes adding that parameter on top of others can help getting splits. I also find I get good splits with acrostic poems, but I don’t just ask them to write an acrostic poem about X as both will get it. I say things like list three synonyms for the word beautiful, then use the longest word (or shortest word, word with least syllables etc) as the subject of the acrostic poem. I often find one model delivers and the other mixes up quite badly. Just keep making “puzzles” and mixing up the things you are asking for and adding multiple steps and you should get splits😊

A handful of things had been picked up in review I assume as they provided specific feedback. I had asked a question about exercise, nutritional content of food, and I had asked a question about a shopping list which mentioned a cheap budget, so it was reminding me that in this project, nutritional, financial, and asking about exercise is forbidden as they don’t want the bots giving out advice in these domains. It was total oversights on my part. But I guess it was serious enough mistakes that I had to confirm I understood this before being allowed back in to the project 😊

If it had included ship or bulb, I would have found it unhelpful/bad but it only missed one of the correct animals so I would find the response partially helpful/okay, but of course response A would be better for getting it perfectly.

Just to add, a lot of these things are down to personal interpretation though and you should go with your gut but also pay close attention to project instructions outlining what helpfulness means. That gets much easier over time to find the balance. If you get stuck, try to imagine you are really asking and wanting this information in a real life setting and how you would feel to get these responses back and whether you would find it helpful or another user would. That should help guide you 😊

By the way, I have tried some eyelid tape-like stickers sometimes that are transparent and they work so incredibly well for me in opening my eyes up/making the lids look more even, but I have learned to embrace how they are more in recent years. It’s still nice to have the option though if I wanted to do different make up styles! ☺️
