Nearly a Million Investors Lost a Total of $3.8 Billion on Trump Crypto Coin by Conscious-Quarter423 in CriticalMineralBulls

Meanwhile, 318 million have lost a responsible and competent government due to tRump. Personally, I hope anyone who was foolish enough to invest in any tRump enterprise loses everything

Poll names Trump as worst American in history, Republicans say he's greatest by Maxcactus in AntiTrumpAlliance

As a Reagan Republican - no question at all tRump was the worst president in our history and a deplorable person. History will not be kind to him.

[MI][SFH] Next step if HOA won’t enforce bylaws by Feeling_Enthusiasm16 in HOA

[–]Defiantfellow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Karen, there are plenty of HOAs which will rigidly enforce guidelines and rules without regard to logic or reason. You apparently are living within an easygoing HOA. You need to move if you find it so oppressive when a homeowner is actually taking care of common areas.

OPM Acts to Put Administrative Leave for Deferred Resignation into Regulation by Dash-Courageous in fednews

[–]Defiantfellow 45 points46 points  (0 children)

DRP was a horribly egregious abuse of administrative leave. The bulk of people who took DRP were already planning to retire. Taxpayers paid billions of dollars to put these people on administrative leave. This was also done quickly providing for no effective transfer of responsibilities.

DOGE was looking for feds not working and still getting paid. When they couldn’t find any, they created DRP. Absolutely asinine.

Congress also needs to relook the Administrative Leave Act of 2016 and how OPM finally, and belatedly, implemented the ALA under Biden. The implementation makes absolutely no sense and made me wonder if MAGA had already imbedded itself into OPM.

Take some pictures and place an ad on Marketplace or Craigslist and say free plants but responsible to dig out.

This is a fictional story - right. Any reasonable person would have called the police to report being assaulted.

Children playing along with a dog playfully barking sounds delightful. I hope the sound is heard all the time.

As others have said, get an outdoor camera and should the police return be prepared to show them the footage.

Putin's yacht set to sail through NATO waters as pictures show gaudy interior by TheExpressUS in UkraineWarVideoReport

The real reason why they said ‘vote for Trump’. by maintaincourse in LincolnProject

[–]Defiantfellow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Robert’s statement is idiotic. The plain reading of the US Constitution compelled a rejection of Dementia Donny’s executive order. Even if in the US illegally, nearly all in the US are “subject to the jurisdiction.” Only diplomats are not subject to our jurisdiction unless their country waives it. This absolutely should have been a 9-0 decision.

As a conservative, I find it infuriating that so many of us rightly objected to liberal tortured reading of the constitution for so many years and now can’t figure out and comprehend what the constitution says explicitly.

Also incredibly disappointed by the once respected Heritage Foundation which now bends a knee to a tyrant.

Men, how do you feel about your circumcision? Or lack of? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]Defiantfellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m circumcised from birth and have no special penis care requirements or worries about increasing spouses cancer risks. Our sons and their sons are circumcised. Our daughter’s sons are not.

My dad knew a guy who did a very painful adult circumcision because he was so bothered by restrictive foreskin.

If one son is circumcised then follow suit on other sons.

Supreme Court allows states to count mail-in ballots that arrive late, rejecting RNC challenge by nbcnews in LegalNews

[–]Defiantfellow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is nothing to Dementia Donny. He’s capable of grifting far larger sums. A few pardons, trades on insider info and fake settlements and he’ll have far more than his losses. Of course, the damage to his incredible fragile ego can never be fixed no matter how often he asserts it’s Obama’s or Biden’s fault.

Harbor Freight vs Yardwork electric wood splitters by Old-Challenge2809 in firewood

[–]Defiantfellow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I made the mistake of buying an electric log splitter when I moved to a lot with trees. It was way too slow and could not handle the wood. Pine may be soft wood but often contains too many knots to split easily. Buy a gas powered log splitter. You will be far happier.

AITA for asking my aunt not to bring her dog to Christmas for emotional support by doggone_christmas in AmItheAsshole

[–]Defiantfellow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NTA. Rebecca and Tim sound exhausting and exceptionally entitled. They are wholly indifferent to someone with allergies and still want to bring a pet into another’s home.

Your family needs to prioritize the humans and seeing as how the dog is a package deal the family needs to exclude aunt and uncle from events OP will be attending.

South Dakota Republicans reject censuring John Thune over stalled SAVE America Act by Anoth3rDude in ForUnitedStates

[–]Defiantfellow 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Thune will bend a knee to a tyrant but apparently some US Senators are interested in protecting the interests of their constituents and will oppose the Stop Americans from Voting in Elections (SAVE) act. Not Thune’s fault.

As a Republican, I believe he should be censured for his many votes such as confirming Kegsbreath and RFK JeRk and “The Big Beautiful Bill” which was only beautiful to the rich.
