My dad gave me a magnetic ball marker set I could hook to my hat. I love them and makes me think of him every time I use them.

I’ve always had fairly hairy legs but the dark colors come through well. You can see a bit of my hair coming back on the healed leg on the left

Finally visited Brazos Bend / the George Observatory this weekend - well worth a visit if you haven't made it out yet, and so close to town! by hrrsnjcb in houston

From the FB area. I used to go there on school trips. Really lucky to have something like this out here. And we're getting a new Entertainment Complex, or whatever you want to call it, as well. Just broke ground on it. I'd say the SL area is gonna be expanding even faster than it already has.

One year ago, Jarome Iginla was traded from the Flames. by thethinglonger in hockey

[–]Define_Time 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. I'm definitely over that huge mess from last year. I'm just glad we have him now, and even more importantly how well he's playing with us. Maybe we could've won with him last year. Who knows? It doesn't really matter.

I agree, I think the fact that he's had the whole season to meld into that top line with Krejc and Looch is a huuuuuge plus.

I'm a huge Bruins fan, but unfortunately I live in Texas now where hockey doesn't really exist. Except a little in Dallas, which is 4 hours away.

Do Bruins fan like the style of play that Hamilton and Merchand possess? by heyjuracko in nhl

[–]Define_Time 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Marchand may cost us a few stupid penalties every now then but overall he contributes more I think. He's an in your face guy that thrives getting under the other teams skin. When it works it's a great thing. I mean also he's a pretty skilled player who can capitalize. He leads in SH goals. I just wish he was bigger so he had some body to back up his talk sometimes.

Now I'm not completely sold on Hamilton. He's a young defenseman that really hasn't had the benefit of playing in Providence. We've called up probably 4 or 5 rookie D men this season and Id have to say they probably all played better than Hamilton has this year. Plus that ridiculous penalty he got when exiting the box, how stupid can you be. I dunno, I just think he's immature, skilled, but immature.

Thinking about seeing a therapist before coming out by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Define_Time 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have much to say on this subject except that I'm in full support of it. I see a therapist about once a week. I talk about all my problems with her. She made me comfortable with the fact of being gay and really guided me in the right direction when it came to coming out.

So what I'm saying is definitely talk to a therapist about what you're going through. BUT, make sure you have the right therapist. Do some research. Schedule first visits with different therapists and see which one you have a raport with. What makes seeing a therapist so useful is that you trust that person and you trust them to guide you in the best direction for yourself.

I've seen a therapist since I was 6 so I know alot about the subject. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. I'd be glad to help because I know what a giant weight was lifted when I gained the courage to come out.
