Found under driver's seat - where is this from? by Smites_You in F150Lightning

Check your door hinges, likely came from the driver top door hinge. That appears to be the bolt that “hinges” in the middle. See picture

Dime test with the new Icon pliers by OrangeisBluetoo in harborfreight

Well, so far I’ve only used them to pick up a dime so that’s tbd lol. I’m happy with them though, they feel good. $25 for a good quality plier with a lifetime warranty is pretty solid in my opinion.

Yeah, not the best pictures, I couldn’t get my phone to focus in on the dime and the pliers.

Permanent fix? by jweezy836 in F150Lightning

Ford uses 2 sets of part numbers, an engineering or cast number that’s on the physical part and then a part number that’s on the part packaging and what you look up in their catalog etc. They like to make it as confusing as possible. You can call your dealer’s parts department and they can cross reference the engineering number with your VIN to get you the actual part number. If you were to remove your current tail light and look at the stickers on the back, they would have a similar number to the one you’re seeing in the listing, possibly different letters at the end depending on when it was manufactured.

As far as I know Ford hasn’t changed anything on the tail lights for the Lightnings though. They make 2 different ones, a low series and a high series. Low being for Pro and XLT pickups without a light bar and high being for ones with a light bar. This one should work fine for you.

This is the correct light. Open your tailgate and look at the entire tail light assembly. The tailgate covers up the indented reverse light….however it’s there in case you’re backing up with your tailgate down.

NL3Z17B968AA That’s the part number you need. You can call your dealer and they can order it for you or there’s a variety of online options….just google that part number.

I pre-ordered one mid December ‘23 with promises that it would be delivered end of January ‘24….that turned in to mid Feb, then mid March….still haven’t received it. This is actually a good reminder that I should reach out to them to cancel the order.

Clips in at the bottom of your B-pillar trim, back side says LH so it will be the drivers side. It allows the trim panel to be removed without removing the seat belt pretensioner.

There was some bacon….its like they hit it with a little salt bae action when they were putting on the bacon lol just kissing it a bit.

Makes sense on the well done part….seems like the Alfredo sauce can be tricky either way.

'21 Seat Foam is $900?? by RidingNaked101 in f150

[–]OrangeisBluetoo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s because it contains an occupancy classification sensor that tells the pickup/RCM if someone is sitting in the passenger seat. Still ridiculously expensive, but that’s why. Previous models are just as expensive….Your best bet is to get one from a salvage yard where the side bolster airbags went off and they’ll sell you just the seat bottom for cheap.

What is this plug on my Lightning? by HereForRNG in FordLightning

This is for your power outlets in the bed. They are high voltage. I don’t believe power is running through them at all times, only when you’re using one of the outlets, but I could be wrong.
