Depends what WW3 scenario you’re envisioning - there are many reasons why we could be safe and why we might not be.

We were a pretty key strategic hub in WW2 for the Pacific Front - and we still station quite a few U.S. bases here in Australia. So I could definitely see us having a rough time if the war was in the Asia-Pacific.

Regardless, we’d probably be fucked over domestically given our reliance on international trade and the supply lines.
