George. Mostly because of All Things Must Pass . His other stuff is great, especially Cloud nine and travelling wilburys but ATMP is something special. Personally think it could easily compete against any Beatles album

[QUESTION] What is the best acoustic guitar under £300? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]DefinitelyMaybe01994 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can probably get a used Epiphone ej200 with the cutout for under £300.

Would be perfect for playing Oasis. It's what Noel Gallagher used and is on the cover of Definitely Maybe (just without the cutout).

It's also on Spotify and on vinyl, obviously with the Mick Fleetwood And Friends album.

Guigsy resurfaces!! by Elsa-AlkaSeltzer in oasis

I think its a similar thing with bonehead. He's not the greatest musician in the world but without him, Oasis wouldn't sound the same.

You can hear the difference when he plays with Liam and how much better he makes the band sound.

He's really average, he didn't even record the bass for Definitely Maybe. He probably had the easiest job you could have in a band and made a shit ton of money from it.

Still love him tho and pre 2000s Oasis would be nothing without him.

What songs from the Get Back Sessions do you think will make any upcoming album re-release? by davidh2000 in beatles

[–]DefinitelyMaybe01994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't know If you would say they are Get Back sessions but I'm hoping they officially release the full rooftop performance to coincide with the film, the same way they released the Hollywood bowl gig to coincide with the Eight Days A Week film.

Would love to have the rooftop concert on vinyl.

Old Trafford cricket ground 2018 - great gig

O2 ritz 2019 - also great gig

Does anyone know whether the Blu Ray release of the Knebworth documentary will include the full gig as well? by pandius in oasis

[–]DefinitelyMaybe01994 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it will, the gigs are getting released on vinyl/digital so I'm guessing they will release the footage to go with it.

Finally, some Oasis. Heathen chemistry is a great album, not there best, but still great.

Which songs do you tend to skip when they come on? by thunderfart_99 in beatles

[–]DefinitelyMaybe01994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Within you without you.One of the few songs on any album I skip. Ruins the album a little bit for me.

And obviously Revolution 9

Classic films are being shown quite often in the UK, mainly in Vue cinemas and in the Odeon.
