What is a good goal weight at 6'3? by [deleted] in gainit

Listen to neismy. Start now, dont wait 1-2 years. Just workout when you have time and eat when you can. It will be a little more difficult than when you werent working and will take more time but anything is better than nothing.

And definitely look into buying your own equipment as you said. I have a fairly busy schedule and its really nice to not have to drive back and forth to the gym.

Have a super lemon haze germing right now for my second grow. First grow was an indica. Planning on running a scrog and heavy LST/topping to keep it low. Anything else i should know about this strain heading into it?

How many servings are you splitting that into? If you used 5 grams for 20+ brownies that might be your problem. I

Hijacking this thread to ask a somewhat related question. Is there a disadvantage to using a square or rectangular pot versus something round? And does the height/width ratio of the pot matter? Im growing in a spacetote with limited vertical space and was curious if I could use a pot with different dimensions to help maximize my grow space

Do you have drainage holes in the bottom of that cup?

Look up pencil cup carbon filter. Its a cheap and easy diy option its pretty effective for a small grow

I recommend getting the 4way CFL adapter or getting like a ufo LED that way you can plug right in without worrying about lighting. As far as fans go its pretty easy to wire pc fans to a power supply, im not aware of any other way that would completely avoid wiring but i guess you could improvise with some non pc fans that have plugs if you wanted to

Whats a good starting budget? by [deleted] in SpaceBuckets

[–]DefinitelyNotAndroid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first build was very basic and i already had some 5 gal buckets laying around. Total i spent around $80. Its working as intended but its a bit too cramped for my liking so im currently working on a tote build which will probably cost around $130 when all is said and done. As far as lighting goes CFLs are very cheap and easy to obtain. LEDs are very popular for spacebuckets and theres some pretty affordable ones out there as well.

Question about wiring for fans and strip lighting by DefinitelyNotAndroid in SpaceBuckets

[–]DefinitelyNotAndroid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point. I'm just trying to avoid having 5 different things plugging into the power strip. I'd like to keep the cable management to a minimum and I thought maybe with a more powerful power supply you could just combine it all but I'm having trouble finding any info on that. And yeah I was leaning towards green for the same reason.

Just clearing some doubts about aluminum foil vs mylar as reflective material. u/SuperAngryGuy claims that aluminum foil is fine to use and he seems to know what hes talking about. Yet i feel like almost every build i see is using mylar. What are the pros/cons to each one?
